Carl
This is just a test and Ill see how its goes. I will be putting money on this but Min stakes only. Rules: Must Qualify in these races. JULY ASCOT 1m & 1½m & 2m - BEVERLEY 7f - CATTERICK 6f - GOODWOOD 5f & 1mHAMILTON 1m - HAYDOCK 6f & 1½m - LEICESTER 5f – LINGFIELD 6f & 2m - NEWBURY 5f & 6f - NEWCASTLE 5f – NEWMARKET 6f - NOTTINGHAM 1m - PONTERFRACT 1m - SOUTHWELL 7f & 1½m WARWICK 7f - YARMOUTH 1¼m Each day consult the "Key Race Table" as given above, and check to see if there is a meeting taking place which is listed under the relevant current month. Example, if we were presently in July, only refers to meetings listed under that month - no other venues need be considered until the next month arrives. The first requirement is that the favourite in question must have won its last race of the current season. Selections for today. 6.45 Bev- Sand Cat SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: SAND CAT is no star but should be able to concede the weight to the two claiming race winners and the disappointing Celeritas. Trombone Tom may be the one for the forecast.[FC] 7.30 Haydock- Spinning Coin. SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Empangeni, Munsef and Tawqeet have all provided examples in the last fortnight of why John Dunlop's 3yo handicappers merit the utmost respect when stepped up in trip, and DANCINGINTHECLOUDS can start to live up to the potential of her pedigree today. Spinning Coin looks sure to run her race again and looks the best alternative.[HT] There is another rule which I am omitting for now and it depends on what happens tonight wether I put it in or not. Rule is the last win must have been 3 lengths or greater. All this is off a system I have had for some time now and seeing as the footy is still weeks away Ill 'have a go 'at this. If anybody wants the software PM me I'll email it you.

Carl
Re: New Month New start. 3.30 Hay- Wrighty Almighty, SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Wrighty Almighty, two from two, is an obviously persuasive candidate for further improvement but faces a stiffer test this time, particularly from ORPHAN, who is much more experienced but also has more to give.[RA] 9.20 Nott- Grey Boy SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: One of these days, as soon as he gets a race run at a strong enough pace and drops the bit, Oddsmaker will go in again, but he's becoming expensive to follow. Grey Boy should get involved but LYGETON LAD has everything in his favour and is the call.[GW]

Carl
Re: New Month New start. Nothing to do with the above rules but Ive just had an email in for this: This is a poor looking race, and not normally something I would have a bet in, but connections would not have it any other way saying this horse is going to well at home to be ignored. Carl
Re: New Month New start. 1.55 Newmarket: Red Clubs Red Clubs Has improved by leaps and bounds and ran out emphatic winner of the Coventry Stakes at York last time, having race in the bag throughout the final furlong; early signs are that form should be viewed positively and although has to concede 5lb all round, sets a high standard. SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: There looks sure to be more to come from the likes of Hunter Street, Ivan Denisovich and Original Source but RED CLUBS sets a stiff standard on his fluent Coventry Stakes success.[AC] 4.25 Catt: Crystal Mystic :OWSize('RP_Popup','http://www.racingpost.co.uk/horses/racing_horse_form.sd?horse_id=603958',620,480,'no','yes','yes')'>Crystal Mystic Hit form back sprinting at Chepstow the last twice where he followed softish-ground second with win on faster surface; this course offers very different test but clearly in form and likely to be thereabouts

Carl
Re: New Month New start. 3.05 Newmarket. RP has joint favs going off. Soldier´s Tale Injury-hit career but confirmed he is a sprinter of real potential this year, landing one of hottest handicaps at York on soft ground after year off despite being switched from one side of track to the other and taking step up to Group 3 company with minimum of fuss at Newcastle; can continue his progress to the top of the sprinting tree. and Iffraaj Sidelined with injury for most of last year but proved one of success stories of this campaign, completing hat-trick of impressive handicap wins in the Wokingham in time only marginally slower than recorded by winner of Group 1 Golden Jubilee in previousrace; no doubt he is capable of making a big impression at the highest level and should make bold bid up far rail. Ill go with Soldiers Tale. 2.40 Warwick Luberon Raced on firm surface to date, making running each occasion; clear second best on debut and no trouble landing long odds laid on him at Musselburgh last week; unlikely we have seen best of him. Carl
Re: New Month New start. Just the 1 today. 2.40 Haydock Sierra Vista Sierra Vista Decent mare on her day and comes here bang in form having made it two on the bounce in a big field at Newmarket last week, where she showed good early speed before sticking on well; will need to be every bit as good here though to defy a penalty. SPOTLIGHT VERDICT: Sierra Vista is on a roll but will need to be right on top of her game if she's to defy a penalty and there are alternatives lower down. Carl
Re: New Month New start. No selections for today using this system. but, I be taking Scriptwriter 19.05 Windsor :OWSize('RP_Popup','http://www.racingpost.co.uk/horses/racing_horse_form.sd?horse_id=589814',620,480,'no','yes','yes')'>Scriptwriter Decent middle-distance pedigree but looked quirky as 2yo; landed the odds in 1m2f fast-ground maiden at Salisbury on return last month but had to be pushed out to win event with no strength in depth and it remains to be seen which way he goes. rp 7/2 the only concern is he's carrying most weight and its extra furlong than his last win. but this is Bin Suroors only entry for today. won 9-runner maiden at Salisbury in June by 1¼ lengths from Colloquial, carrying head high and pushed out firmly after leading over 2f out: will stay at least 1½m: acts on good to firm and soft ground. :hope
