TANGIBLE (nap) carries a penalty for last week's gutsy Sandown success but, given she fared the best of those that raced up with the strong pace, she may be a bit better than that bare form. Carl Posted August 17, 2005 Author Share Posted August 17, 2005 Re: New Month New start. 3.35 york-Ajigolo Ajigolo Got his career back on track last twice, filling creditable fourth in Norfolk Stakes over C&D (visored) before giving 10lb to decent yardstick in ready fashion at Doncaster; similar display should ensure he is not far away. personally I'll also be backing Godfrey Street Improved form to be sixth in Molecomb Stakes and, having failed to see out the extra furlong off a handy mark in nursery later at Goodwood, just got home from promising sort under a good ride in Lingfield AW Class 5 5f event; likely to make his presence felt again. See how the betting goes but Im favouring the stoute horse Echelon Has not yet lived up to early expectations but went close in C&D Listed event last month, having had anything but a clear run, and made no mistake when favourite again in similar contest at Newbury three weeks later, going in by 4l from Teeba; won on good to soft on debut and good chance again if also goes on this surface. Musicanna Four starts and has won her last three; cosy if narrow success on good ground in 1m Newmarket handicap followed by stylish success in similar event on soft at Newbury and now looks well worth a crack at this level, with the recent rain a big boost, though more improvement needed against Echelon. 3.30 Sandown.Green Manalishi. Green Manalishi Acts on soft; made most of far-rail draw when back on the winning trail over C&D 10 days ago and followed up in clear-cut style at Newbury three days later; had fallen to a very good mark prior to that but 7lb rise for latest win means that career-best now needed. 3.10 Chester.Paper Talk Paper Talk Probably still hasn´t shown all his cards, even though has won two of last three starts, well ridden from front both times; good draw to exploit those tactics and trainer-jockey combo landed this last year with a 3yo; must for shortlist.
