BillyHills Posted July 6, 2016 Share Posted July 6, 2016 3.15 Newmarket: Princess Of Wales Stakes .................The Grey Gatsby (7/2 BetVictor) , he looks a very interesting runner for Kevin Ryan who has finally started to get some winners. The yard had been a bit quiet but a double last Saturday shows the horses are in decent nick. The 5yo is by far the most talented of this select field but has the big question mark over the trip right above his head. He has never run over 12f in Britain before, he did try it in very soft ground in France one day but that didn’t really prove anything either way. On form at 10f he would be a strong favourite, he has won two Group 1 races and ran very respectably on his seasonal debut at Ascot when fourth to My Dream Boat in the Prince Of Wales’s Stakes. On the way he has travelled through his races he looks as though he can stay alright to me and if he does he will be very hard to beat.
