Back Karolina Pliskova to beat Ana Ivanovic for a 7/10 stake at 2.10 with Paddy Power

Back Samantha Stosur to beat Christina McHale for a 7/10 stake at 1.83 with BetVictor

Back Darya Kasatkina to beat Monica Puig for a 7/10 stake at 1.72 with Paddy Power

These three for me on Monday. Pliskova and Stosur have excellent record against Ivanovic and McHale and I also have some doubts about both of the latter, while Kasatkina should simply outclass Puig.

Back Borna Coric (+1.5 sets) to beat Tomas Berdych for a 7/10 stake at 2.10 with Paddy Power

Back Gael Monfils (-3.5) to beat Albert Ramos for a 7/10 stake at 1.84 with Unibet

Despite winning in straight sets, Berdych didn't look all that good against DelPo, so I'm happy to back Coric to grab a set off him at odds against. Meanwhile, Monfils should be able to set the record straight and beat Ramos. The upset he produced against Kyrgios was as good as it gets, but I can't see him stringing big wins together.

Zhang - Azarenka 8.5 Pinnacle

Zhang concentrated her preparation for IW. She said that this is her favorite tournament. She is pumped after Australian open success and started well here beating Wozniacki. Azarenka is the big favorite, but with this kind of odds Zhang is a great value.

Rybarikova - Bencic 5.1 Matchbook

Rybarikova scored two good wins here. She is in nice form and loved the surface. Bencic started very strong the season, but now she has some problems. The young talent was surprised in her very first match in Dubai and Doha and was close to lose against Lauren Davis. Bencic is still the favorite, but I am not sure if those odds are accurate for her opponent.

4pts K.Pliskova to beat A.Ivanovic Evens Skybet
2pts K.Pliskova to win 2-0 12/5 Boylesports

Head-2-head shows dominace from Pliskova so this isn't a match-up that Ivanovic enjoys. 3 head-2-heads all won by Pliskova. Last time out only recently in Sydney where Pliskova won in straight sets. I'm backing her to do the same here. Ana had match points against her against Giorgi and gave away 16 break points as opposed to Pliskova giving away just 2. Ivanovic went out last year to Garcia in the last 32 where as Pliskova got to the last 16 beating players like Muguruza before going out to eventual winner, Halep.

2pts D,Allertova to beat J.Konta 13/8 Ladbrokes
This should be a close one and id be suprised if it's not a 3-setter. Head-2-head shows 1-1 but Konta won on the hard, Allertova on the clay. I just don't think she is a 13/8 dog here, especially after that performance against Kerber. Kontas form is hard to really vision as she has beaten players ranked 55 and 58 where as Allertova has just beaten a world number 2. Cetkovska isn't a top player but she also beat her dropping just 1 game. She is a real talent.

3pts M.Raonic to beat B.Tomic 2-0 10/11 Paddypower
This will be good a measurement of how fit and ready Raonic is. He looked good against Cervantes but he did get broke in the second (won 6-1 6-3) but I think that's just Raonic taking his foot off the gas abit there. Tomic gave away 10 break point chances for Ram in his prior game. He also lost both the head-2-head between these two and both matches were 2-0 Raonic.

2pts Ramos Vinolas to beat G.Monfils 5/2 Skybet
Worth a punt here in my opinion. Monfils just about scraped through against Busta (7-5 7-6) and his second serve was just 42% where as Ramos seems to be playing excellent. Very impressive win over Kyrgios where he did not give away even 1 break point. If he serves that well again we could see an upset.

Vinci Vs Svitolina This is a match-up that I am keenly looking forward to with almost no doubts about the result. H2H stands at 1-1 with Svitolina winning the most recent. Vinci has really played a lot of tennis in the last couple of weeks for a woman her young age, and would now seem to be playing in reserve backed by an iron will to survive. The pressure once more is on her to weave out another crafty escape, especially as this is now a considerable upgrade from her last opponent. This can only go one way; and I confidently back Svitolina to win.

Back Fernando Verdasco (+1.5 sets) to beat Rafael Nadal for a 7/10 stake at 2.10 with Paddy Power

Back Jack Sock to beat Dominic Thiem for a 7/10 stake at 2.40 with BetVictor

Back John Isner (-3.5) to beat Adrian Mannarino for a 7/10 stake at 2.02 with Unibet

Verdasco has been able to match Nadal in all their recent encounters and Nadal has certainly not impressed anyone against Muller, so I quite like Verdasco on the set handicap at odds against. Thiem also seems to be running out of fuel right now and Sock is bound to test him, so the 2.40 there looks worth a punt. Finally, Isner has an excellent record against Mannarino and he likes the Indian Wells conditions, so I'll give him a go on the games handicap line to round things off.

Ramos Vs Monfils It is very difficult to make a prediction about this match considering how well Ramos played in his last match against Kyrgios. The big question here is whether there is enough evidence from the form Ramos has on offer to suggest a possible win. I say hmmmmm! but decidedly no. I will not be fooled into using his victory over Kyrgios as a positive yardstick. It has to be noted anyhow that after the brief brilliant period kyrgios had gone through, he was due for a loss which I will in no way credit to Ramos.

One other important point to note is that monfils is not the kind of player that loses when you expect him to. The same goes for Ferrer, Errani, Vinci and a few others. Worse still for Ramos, is tha Monfils is playing very well at the moment. I will give respect to Ramos here and say Monfils to win 2-1 Monfils over 12.5 games. GL

Alexander Zverev to beat Gilles Simon for a 6/10 stake at 2.25 with Paddypower

Alexander Zverev is on fire. The same can't be said about Simon. If Simon delivers the same performance as he did against Pospisil he will be constantly on the backfoot trying to get into the rallies. I also think it seems like Simon is in decline while Zverev has just exploded and will continue to win matches like this right now. The guy got what it takes to beat Simon again just like in Rotterdam in february.

I very much like the pick on Sock. Another one is Bautista to beat Lopez. Last night i watched the Zverev/Dimitrov match

Jesus Christ! Dimitrov is so badly different than in previous seasons. He was weak, awful, without power at all.

I started to feel that tennis sport will gonna "feel" the new doping doctrine. The question in my opinion is not who is using doping drugs, but tell me who is NOT- remember what James Blake said some years ago...-

2pts J.Ostapenko to beat A.Konjur 2-0 5/2 Bet365
It will be interesting to see if Ostapenko keeps the form that see her get to the final at Doha, but I expect her to beat Konjur who has lost 6 of her last 10 matches.

I have Ostapenko as a long-term bet so I cheer for her every match she plays so I appreciate your thoughts on this one. It really looks like a match Ostapenko should win.

"I can't believe there is a real will to fight against doping...I don't know whether the testing is done to catch the guys or just for show. Sometimes, I ask myself the question, when I see what goes on."  - Fabrice Santoro. And many others. Sports are very dirty business. Doping industry is ALWAYS years of light ahead of  anti-doping tests

Several new and strong medicines are OUT, are simply ignored by any laboratories software. We are talking about money. Players want the money, want the trophys, they don't give a penny for us who watch them. They don't give a penny if it is fair or not. THEY JUST want money against all the other players who don't dare to use them. Personally i have only one player for whom i am sure he never used such medicines. FEDERER. and perhaps Murray For all the others i have clouds in front of them. ciao, good luck!

Cheating will always be part of any sport with the huge stakes always up for grabs. Sharapova trying to be smart came out ahead of the dope squad to make an announcement that did nothing to exonerate her when you come to examine matters closely. She said she had been taking meldonium for the last ten years while it was legal - which is tantamount to admitting that she had been cheating legally. Sharapova should know that in her position, she is morally accountable to the tennis world regardless of any technical advantage. Taking an enhancer whether or not WADA has caught on to it is blatant cheating. After all, we do not for one minute believe that all the other top russian athletes on meldonium all suffer from heart problems. As J. Capriati tweeted, "What is a supposedly fit woman doing with a ten year supply of meldonium?" No wonder all the superhuman comebacks from a set down to victory. When you recall the career of Agassi, it is easy to guess whose else currently is on a superman boost. I can name a few suspects but I'd rather not.  Sometimes it is so very difficult to bring ourselves into believing that certain people who we look up to as heros could condescend to cheating. It is for similar reasons that everyone first sympathised with Masha.

When the betting scandal first broke out months ago, did they not say that most of the culprits were in the top 50? The fact is dope and betting cheats will continue to excel in a world where people will stop at nothing to win. After the fall of Marion Jones, I was sure that nothing would ever shock me in athletics ever again. Sharapova was nowhere near the kind of grace and credibility that Marion expressed on the track, and yet, she was a confirmed cheat. I could never recall too many occasions in the past where players like Ilendl, Mcenroe, sampras, Becker would default during a match for any reason. Today, players default at an alarming rate. In most cases in the final set to really take the piss. I have even see a few in situations like 3-5 down final set perhaps in trying to save or win a bet. Madness!!!! I really expect one of two things to happen soon; a change of the guard in both mens and womens tennis or a drastic improvement in the quality of enhancers that will hit the market next. It is more likely that the latter will prevail.

Would sooner stick pins in my eyes than watch that again. 5-2 up, she loses 7-5. I'm sorry, no excuse, that's pathetic. She's the better player and if this were a grand slam, it would never happen. Surely, at 18 you want to win every match? lazy fuck!

Kalovelonis - Ivashka 3.94 Pinnacle

This one is from Kazan's challenger

Both guys coming from qualifications, but Kalovelonis already scored one surprise beating far better opponent than Ivashka - Vatulin. Markos showed very good results on indoor hard this season and he is capable to stun favorites. Ivashka has some problems with injury earlier this season, but looking at his past results he often was beaten in challenger level by lower ranked guys. Pretty 50/50 match with better odds for Kalovelonis, who is playing in his home country. I expect the odds to drop seriously in the next hours.

Milos Raonic to beat Tomas Berdych for a 7/10 stake at 1.90 with Paddypower

Nothing wrong with Raonic so far and he will be up for this challenge. Kind of shaky play from Berdych so far in both his matches even though he has'nt been in big trouble but I sense Raonic will cause him big trouble. It's 3-2 head to head between them and Raonic has beaten Berdych three times on hard, twice indoors and once outdoors.

Max Neuchrist - Lukas Lacko 4.04 Pinnacle

Max Neuchrist is participating in a third tournament in a row in China. He beat the qualifications here on his favorite surface this season - hard (12w/4l). Lacko is in awful form this season. He already lost some matches from outsiders. The bigger problem is his time zone change. Last week he was in Sweden on indoor hard, now is on outdoor in big humidity without much time to make acclimatization. Here the pick is not too much about Neuchrist qualities, but about the lack of form by Lacko, who is overall better player.

Delbonis - Gael Monfis 5.37 Pinnacle

Delbonis showed great tennis and strong mentality beating Andy Murray in one of the biggest surprises this season. The clay court specialist showed no problems to adapt on IW's hard court, which is pretty slower. Delbonis is serving solidly and produced some great shots, making Murray asking himself where this came from. Monfis beat Ramos convincingly, but it was mostly Ramos's own efforts with bad serving. Gael never did well on IW in previous years. With such odds it's a must bet for Delbonis. I Expect the odds to go below 4.50 before the match time.

Wacnik - Lukas 6.33 Pinnacle

This one from ITF Canbera/clay/women

Wacnik started with two easy wins in qualifications. She is is super shape after winning doubles grass tournament week ago in Australia with some very nice results.

Lukas has better results and better ranking, but she is coming to Australia from Europe after some weeks rest. Last year she didn't participate on any tournament during this time so she will not be defending her ranking. I see the odds for Wacnik around 4.5 - 5, but 6,33 is superb value.

2pts F.Verdasco to beat R.Nadal 11/4 Skybet
Beat nadal recently at the Australian Open on the hard. Infact beat Nadal twice on the hard last year. Nadal is struggling big time. He has always been a clay courter anyways so for him to improve on his form away from the clay too is double hard here. Verdasco ofcourse also not what you'd call a hardcourter but the head-2-heads speak for themselves and I'm not convinced it can change.

2pts S.Halep to beat B.Strycova 2-0 Evens Skybet
Halep is bringing her A game this week and she has to as she is the current champion here. She has played Strycova once on the hard and beat her in straight sets and I expect the same here. First serve is as always key here and whilst Strycova is at an average 59% first serve in her 3 games here, Halep is 74%

2pts S.Querrey to beat Tsonga 2-0 7/2 Boylesports
I'm going greedy as usual. Querrey is in great form (Won Delray tournament, Semi Final of Acapulco) and has won 11 in 13 beating the likes of Nishikori in straight sets and Del Potro. Where as Tsonga still doesn't look in good form to me. I expect him to do well at the French but last time these played, Querrey won in straight sets also and I'm going to take an outside shot at the same thing happening.

1pt P.Kohlschreiber to beat N.Djokovic 6/1 Bet365
I think this is the first time I've ever tipped against him. Just do not think he looks on top of things last few matches. Since the Aus Open he has won all his games but one granted, but he is losing sets to players like Fratangelo and Kukushkin. It's just worth a shot at 6/1.

Expect it to be an easy win for Nishikori over struggling Johnson.

ATP KAZAN CHALLENGER: SIDORENKO-KIUAMOV 2:0 SETS @ 1.4 on stanjames / 1.35 betfair / 1.34 sbobet
Sidorenko has a good serve and good game for fast indoors playing against a local wild-card player.

WTA INDIAN WELLS AZARENKO-STOSUR @ 1.2 on betfair
Good recent form for Azarenka who has very good game and head-to-head record against Stosur.

Back Gael Monfils (-4.5) to beat Federico Delbonis for a 7/10 stake at 2.06 with Unibet

Back Milos Raonic (-1.5) to beat Tomas Berdych for a 7/10 stake at 1.86 with Unibet

Just these two favourites for me tomorrow, fancy both of them strongly to be honest. Stringing big wins should prove impossible for Delbonis, while Raonic has just seemed to be a level above Berdych so far in this season.
