January and February have been relatively dry, so we should get conditions that we saw in 2012 and 2015. A little rainfall overnight on Wednesday may soften just a touch, but punters should be looking at supporting players who can grind with scores higher that -10 likely. An inland course, which features no water, tight fairways which are tree-lined married to deep bunkering make this a real-test. The course undulates and relatively small bent poa annua green complexes repel approach shots. par on plenty of holes is a great score. I'm looking for PGA Tour focused players who know how to grind + can scramble and play the ball comfortably from left to right. Followed someone in on him last week and took the hit of the missed cut. Hopefully he'll "do a Blixt" and have a good week after missing the cut, the difference being I'll have stuck with him on this occasion!
