Master Joe
6.40 ABSOLUT POWER Due to go up five pounds after this run but ran well over Course & Distance last time when second to a progressive well-treated rivala a stronger race which was an improved effort from his previous runs. This listed winner on the flat in Germany should have the tactical speed to beat Mr Mischief who has a bitter struggle tonight giving the selection a vital nine pounds. 7.10 MONTIFAULT More than a stone in hand of his nearest rival of this race, he doesn't have to be at his best to beat this moderate lot tonight. Was 5th in the Grand National two years ago and brillant third in Class B Hunter Chase last month. Hacked up against some decent hunters over Course & Distance earlier in the season and in the same form he will be very hard to beat if his breathing problem doesn't take its toll. 8.10 IDAHO D'Ox Definitly the class act in the race. This horse has some decent top class handicap form in the last two seasons, he has ran in some top handicaps and the step up to three miles has seemed to help of late in recapturing his previous very good form. Was 4th of 22 runners in a Class A race at the Aintree Festival last month and was very good second in a Class B race at Cheltenham in April. This Class D race is a massive drop down in class and he is not badly treated considering the decent form he has shown. Must have a big chance here facing lesser rivals and is decent value around 7-1. 8.40 CRAFTY LADY A three horse race by the three horses who have already ran and Crafty Lady is the tentitive pick here having produced a good racecourse debut when finishing second of ten last time and with more improvement expected to come he can win this race. Master Joe
Re: Ludlow Selections Did an Each-Way Accumilator on all 4 and with their forecast prices I would have been payed about £150, but there were some non-runners which were leading fancies which meant my horses prices were shorter than anticipated. First three were placed and my 4th selection was 3rd of 6 runners, almost won but very unlucky. Try again tomorrow though.
