Re: Arnold Palmer Invitational > March 19th - 22nd Same old chestnut for me too in Keegan Bradley @ 38 Betfair. His last two outings here have resulted in a 3rd and a 2nd so if the trend continues then the W comes this week. Far too a player not to have won since 2012 and unless I'm mistaken this is the only course Bradley has multiple Top 3 finishes on but has not won. Outside of the HP Byron Nelson and WGC at Firestone there's no better place to be taking Keegan.

Re: Arnold Palmer Invitational > March 19th - 22nd It would appear that some of the greens at Bay Hill this week are in a poor state of repair and if that's the case it certainly throws in a new aspect to the equation. Remember Quail Hollow in 2013 when rookie Derek Ernst triumphed in a Play Off from David Lynn? Are we to see more surprises at Bay Hill this week? Neither are in the field this week and it's difficult to know what affect the greens will have on affairs, but if we are looking for some surprises maybe a couple of longer prices will spring into the mix. Morgan Hoffmann at 200/1 likes technical tests and after reaching the Tour Championship last season and securing his place in 2015's Major Championships he's had a quiet start to the season. 17th at Doral a fortnight ago was a strong WGC debut and if putting becomes less of a factor this week, I can see him getting into the mix. Another to keep an eye on could be John Peterson who at 250/1 could surprise. Peterson has a decent junior record around Bay Hill and he's undoubtedly been grinding in 2015, and banking far more cheques than he did in his rookie season. Of the top boys softer conditions (mud is being reported on greens) would suit Rory McIlroy, Henrik Stenson, Gary Woodland, Brendan Steele and Harris English.

Re: Arnold Palmer Invitational > March 19th - 22nd Tournament preview: 1pt ew JB Holmes to win Arnold Palmer Invitational 35/1 Paddy Power (1/4 1-6) Florida form is often crucial around here but Matt Every showed last year that it isn’t essential. One man who doesn’t have a lot of Florida form but is in great nick is JB Holmes and I like him this week. It is a bonus that he was tied for tenth here last year but he is playing some of the best golf he’s ever played at the minute. He was only beaten by Jason Day in a playoff in the Farmers Insurance a few weeks ago and only Dustin Johnson was too good for him at Doral in his last tournament so it has taken a couple of special players to beat him. Holmes has the length to take care of this course and after a couple of near misses it can be third time lucky for the Kentucky man. Re: Arnold Palmer Invitational > March 19th - 22nd Top player previews: 1pt ew M.Laird Top GB & Ire Player 14/1 Skybet (1/5 1-3) Course form seems to be a good thing around here and Martin Laird definitely has that having won the tournament in 2011. He has been in excellent touch this week with three top 10s, one of which could have been oh so better at the Phoenix Open but for a disastrous last two holes where even two pars would’ve put him in the playoff. Laird is striking the ball really nicely though, scoring well on the par 5s and he is sneaky with his length so with his form back with a bang he should challenge strongly this week. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/arnold-palmer-invitational-betting-martin-laird-can-be-best-of-those-this-side-of-the-pond 1pt ew V.Singh Top Australasian 14/1 Ladbrokes (1/3 1-2) Vijay Singh is getting no younger but he’s had a couple of decent runs in his last three tournaments including on a tough track last week. As a former champion of this event he will know Bay Hill well and he could be the value in this select little field. There are doubts about the market leaders so with Vijay’s quality iron game and a putter which appears to be co-operating he is well worth a bet in this market this week.
