Re: Scottish Football > January 10th - 12th There is 5/2 available for a Draw No Bet on Motherwell to beat Dundee away. Considering Dundee could not beat Ross County at home even when County had a man sent off after a few minutes, this seems to me value. Dundee are about 13/15 (1.86), which I reckon means the bookies give them about a 50% chance of winning. That means the draw and Motherwell together have a 50%. Motherwell did get beat the last couple of times, but to good teams.

Re: Scottish Football > January 10th - 12th Im a Dundee supporter and tipped County DNB last week and also took DC.Tbf we should have beaten County winning 1-0 dominating possession and creating chances and then shot ourselves in the foot with McGowan losing possession and County scoring from one off their rare forrays forward. As for Saturday were missing arguably our best player this season and certainly best defender in James Mcpake. The pressure continues to build onthe manager and players with only 2 points won out off 24. Were not the most patient bunch off supporters either which is doing the team no favors with fans on the players and managers back. Motherwell DC and DNB again for me.

Re: Scottish Football > January 10th - 12th

Motherwell DC and DNB again for me.
The 5/2 DNB Motherwell has gone now; but even so, would not backing the draw (14/5) and the DNB Motherwell (12/5 now) be more valuable than the Double Chance and the DNB? (I can only see 21/20 for the Double Chance.)

Re: Scottish Football > January 10th - 12th The Motherwell price of 5/2 DNB was certainly good value but it's well gone now....the only other one that catches my eye is Aberdeen to beat St Mirren away....granted the 8/15 is nowhere near value and care should always be taken when backing an away team at less than evens so why take a chance on the 'Dons' at a crappy price?Well firstly there seems to be a hunger and eagerness about them this season now that they have their noses in front. They have a decent away record of 7-0-3 13/8.They have the second best defense(overall and away) and have kept 14 clean sheets this season. In their last game they dominated away at Motherwell(similar quality to St Mirren) and created plenty of chances with 14 shots on goal. They have players that can score and they are hard to beat. St Mirren on the other hand have one of the worst home records in the UK with 0-1-9 4/16 and have yet to keep a clean sheet this season. One of their better players Adam Drury(3 goals) has returned early to Manchester City from his loan and as the 'Buddies' are the second lowest scorers in the league I'm sure he'll be missed.Coincidentally they are also the team with the second highest goals against.Straight away win for me....

SPL: Hamilton Academical- Dundee United SPL: Hamilton Academical- Dundee United These two sit 4th and 5th , both would go third in the table with a win and as they hold a ten and nine point lead over the team in 6th, you can make a case for both having little to lose and going all out for maximum points. The hosts entertain title favourites Celtic at the weekend, so will surely be looking for the cushion that a win tonight would give them, they are fast starters, only leaders Aberdeen are stronger before the break and they are 6-2-1 here in the first half and an SPL best 8-2 (goals scored -conceded) in the first 30 minutes at home.United's last ten games in all comps have averaged 3.6 goals and there was plenty of action early in the reverse fixture, which ended 2-2 with all four goals coming before the break. It was also a little feisty, with a red card for each inside 40 minutes. This will be the hosts first start since they lost boss Alex Neil who has taken charge at Norwich City, the player manager was an infleunce on and off the pitch and will be a significant loss, defender Martin Canning will take charge of the team and looks set to leave himself out of the starting eleven which will weaken them. United remain without central defender Callum Morris, they have conceded at least two goals in the four matches in which he has played less than 8 minutes and in the last two, there have been eight goals ( 3 and 5 respectively) before the break. Given that, how the previous meeting played out, the uncertainty over how the loss of Neil will affect Hamilton , it is easy to see early action. 1 unit "over" 1.25 first half goals 2.38 asian line/Sportmarket.
