Easily the form team in the League and perhaps the country? The fixture list has been relatively kind during the run, and am banking on it continuing to do so on Saturday Northampton finished really well last year and had a great start this season. But an injury crisis (including top scorer, Richards) seems to have taken it's toll, and they've lost three on the bounce. Will be a tough game and a local derby, with a good away support at Luton for a change. Taft(12 apps), Mousinho(12apps,2 goals), McFazdean(9apps,1goal), MacDonald(13 apps,3 goals) and Beavon(12 apps,2 goals) will all be out and I think these 5 first teamers will be missed. They've scored 8 goals between them and they are also responsible for 7 assists. Stuart Beavon in particular seems to create with 6 assists credited to him on soccerway. Very sub-par performance apparently, Northampton had 58% possession and will definitely be ones to watch when their injuries clear up a bit. I think that was Luke Gutridge's first goal for Luton this year after getting injured last season. Massive player to have back in form if so, as he was vital in last year's run. Logically, The Luton train could steam on through November as the fixture list doesn't look that taxing. Signs that it may be running out of puff today perhaps?
