Re: The McGladrey Classic > October 23rd - 26th Adam Hadwin - 1 Point each-way @ 70/1 Bet365 Tony Finau - 1 Point each-way @ 50/1 Bet365 Adam Hadwin seems to be making a seamless transition from the Web.com Tour to the PGA Tour. The 26-year-old fired the day’s best round, an eight-under par 63, to finish tied for 10th place at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas on Sunday. The bogey-free round was Hadwin’s lowest in 13 PGA Tour starts. The Vegas tourney was just Hadwin’s second as a PGA Tour regular. He recently earned his exempt status by finishing as the No. 1 player on the 2014 Web.com Tour. Hadwin finished the event at 13-under par and looks too big a price at 70/1 considering the progress he is making. Tony Finau is another that just came from the Web.com Tour but he just has to be backed at this price, he has really caught the eye the past two weeks with a T12 finish in the Frys.com Open and a T7 finish in the Shriners at the weekend. He hits the ball an absolute mile, he is possibly the biggest hitter on tour now which always has to be an advantage, especially at the start of the season where the players play on birdie courses.

Re: The McGladrey Classic > October 23rd - 26th Tournament preview: 1pt ew R.Knox to win The McGladrey Classic 33/1 BetVictor (1/4 1-5) Russell Knox went very close last week but a horror start to the final round eventually caught him out but having gone well on a similar track at the Sony Open last year I think he has every chance this week. The Scot is a good scorer on par fours which puts him in contention here and given the way he played for three rounds last week we know his game is in good order. He’s had a near miss and now he can land the big one. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/the-mcgladrey-classic-betting-russell-knox-can-put-last-week-s-near-miss-behind-him

Re: The McGladrey Classic > October 23rd - 26th Top Continental European preview: 3pts C.Pettersson Top Continental European 13/8 BetVictor Carl Pettersson has the best record of the four on the PGA Tour and even recently he has been in the mix a lot more. He gives it a decent enough whack to make use of the two par fives on this course but he’s straight enough to take advantage of the par fours as well so he definitely appeals the most out of this mini group even though he is the favourite. He should be too good for these. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/the-mcgladrey-classic-betting-carl-pettersson-looks-a-good-thing-in-european-market

Re: The McGladrey Classic > October 23rd - 26th Always an interesting tournament. Of the favourites I can't see past Webb Simpson who tends to telegraph his wins. Interesting to note that his non-Major wins have been at 20/1, 35/1 and 20/1. He is clearly in good form after a 5th at Sedgefield, 9th at Boston and 4th last week at TPC Summerlin. His current game stats are very intersting as he ranks close to the top of my rankings for both Driving Accuracy and GIR; if the putter warms even a touch, he should win this week, on a course that favours streaky players who can shoot low numbers. Course form of 2nd and 7th speaks for itself! As already stated the tournament tends to get dominated by those from the southern states. Even Ben Crane in 2011 is based in Texas; although orginally from Oregan. That opens up plenty of opportunities for longer shots and I have plumped for Kisner, McGirt and Stuard at triple-digit prices.

Re: The McGladrey Classic > October 23rd - 26th Three for me: Hudson Swafford @ 70 Betfair I think he could well be the next rookie and Georgia Bulldog to take a PGA title. Will know the course well and has had a bright start to the wrap around season that could well get better in his own backyard. Michael Thompson @ 90 Betfair Has 2x Top 10s in this event from just as many attempts and for me is a real par 70 specialist. Is excellent with the putter on his day and if the flat stick gets going this week I can see him in contention. John Huh @ 110 Betfair Another Par 70 specialist whose games is well suited to this course.

The McGladrey Classic > October 23rd - 26th Stewart Cink in running ew 22/1, 1/4 odds 1-4, William Hill Cink has shot 3 super low scores in 3 of his last 7 rounds. 64(-7) & 66(-5) in the Shriners & a 63(-7) yesterday. Decent GIR stats of over 85%, so giving himself plenty of chances. Holed a lot of long putts yesterday. Clearly he is very hit & miss, but may go close, lying just 3 shots off the lead, if continuing where he left off? Nice odds IMO, & only Hills going 4 places, where he currently stands...
