Thought I would try and start a baseball thread. With a bank of 100 units, and armed with the knowledge from several successful fantasy baseball seasons, Im going to have a crack at maintaining this thread and hopefully see some profit. My account is with Stan James, so Im sure there will be some price variances across the board. Day One seattle -1.5 vs minnesota @ 2.75 10pts With new power additions sexson and Beltre to follow suzuki, the Mariners have added an awful lot of pop to the lineout. I think too much for minnesota. Blue Jays VS Tampa Bay @1.83 money line. 10pts Having lost Delgado in the offseason, the blue jays will rely more on a speed style offense. Having said that previously unknown Gabe Gross turned up to spring training and smashed home runs all over the place. He will probably bat 8 in lineup. Tampa Bay lost alex sanchez to a 10day positive steroid test suspension. The first of the new MLB regime. So i fancy the Blue Jays to get off to a good start and with Halliday pitching, they have every chance. And combine them both with a 5pt double.

Re: MLB Bingo Bango Bongo Good Luck Steve - i am looking forward to the season - what you think of some outright each way shots at the world series? I dont know much about most teams but im liking the 2 signings of the Mets of beltron and martinez - 21/1 with Stan James. I think they should be there or there abouts. Although to be fair i only know about these players as i started following MLB towards the end of last season and these were 2 players that were on tv most nights.
