Re: Bundesliga - March 29-30 Wolfsburg-Frankfurt Bet: Wolfsburg @ 1.88 (Pinnacle) (4/10) Wolfsburg with weird games lately. First getting smashed against Hoffenheim and Bayern, then not giving real answers against Braunschweig and Augsburg. The reasons were quite easy to see: They are missing creativity in their attacks against opponents who are concentrating on a deep defense. This is also why they won easily against Bremen. Bremen didn’t have any chance to play defensively as they were down 0-1 after a few minutes. Frankfurt with good results after winter break all in all. Lately the 1-0 against a completely weak Gladbach and a 5-2 against Nürnberg which was 2 goals too high in my opinion. However their defensive tactic is quite dangerous. They are defending very high against their opponent and press them when they are trying to make their game. Now this is the point where I see good chances for Wolfsburg. Wolfsburg doesn’t have an opponent here whos tactic is to defend deep. They will have more freedom in their attacks here and more place always makes it easier to play that one key pass which Wolfsburg has problems with. In addition it was once again an english week and this will cause problems for Frankfurt. They can’t really play three games in a row within 7-8 days on a high level (this you could see all over the season with the europa league weeks). Wolfsburg will miss Medojevic once again which is in my opinion not a bad thing. Malanda has done his job in the past two games good in my opinion and seems a bit more offensive focused when it comes to passing than Medojevic. De Bruyne will return after being suspended. Benaglio will probably miss this match and be replaced with Grün. Frankfurt on the other side will still miss Oczipka, Anderson, Russ (suspended), Rode, Schwegler, Weis and Meier is still in doubt.
