Re: Scottish Football > February 15th & 16th Peterhead at home, at 4/6 with Paddy Power and Hills is my choice in this top of the table clash. They are 7 points ahead of Clyde and have won 4 out of 5 of their last home league games. The corresponding fixture earlier this season resulted in a 3-1 win for Peterhead. Their top scorer is Rory Mcallister on 17 goals- if he plays, I think 4/6 odds are generous and I'm on them now at that price.

Re: Scottish Football > February 15th & 16th Have to say Motherwell looks like a good bet at home v. Partick. Solid form, good home team. Beat Partick away 1-5. Loss to Celtic and draw v. Aberdeen completely acceptable. Partick has managed some draws of late but against much weaker opposition. Motherwell is a top team this year and have scored twice as many points as Partick. Highest odds avaliable now 1.96 which seems like very good value.

Re: Scottish Football > February 15th & 16th ^^^ Totally agree that Thistle have done little to warrant their relatively short price, whereas Motherwell look very long. Aberdeen to win at St Mirren (evens) is a tempter, even though they played out a feeble draw last time they met in Paisley. On current form and confidence, Aberdeen look like srs bsns.

Re: Scottish Football > February 15th & 16th Berwick look appealing at home to Elgin, 4/7 being widely available. The visitors have lost four out of four away from home. Their recently appointed manager, Barry Wilson, is quoted today as having 2 defenders, including captain David Niven and one midfielder doubtful for this fixture. He states that his squad is imbalanced at the moment-in favour of attackers. Berwicks home form reads won 2 out of 4. They are 9 points above Elgin, whose poor away form points me in the direction of backing Berwick, at 4/7.

Re: Scottish Football > February 15th & 16th Alloa - Livingston Championship Scotland Saturday 15/2 16:00 Prediction: Alloa Odds: 2,85 Stake: 3/10 Bookmaker: PinnacleSports We turn to Scotland, 2nd division or Championship as it's called. Alloa placed 8th at home to Livingston placed 7th. Important match in relegation zone. Interesting info here, clear offensive minuses in away side: "- Livingston face striker crisis ahead of with Alloa " "- Livingston manager John McGlynn says he may be forced to bring in another striker as the club faces an injury crisis ahead of their clash with Alloa Athletic on Saturday" "- McGlynn said: “We’ve clearly got an issue up front heading into the game. We don’t have an experienced recognised striker fully fit, which is a big blow. “It may give one or two of the younger boys a chance to shine. That’s one option we have" http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/west-lothian-livingston-injuries-3142144 Alloa has played quite decent lately but been not very effective infront of goal, now they have signed ex Celtic & Hibs striker D.Riordan who will be avaliable for this game. Alloa lost the away game in the last minute away to Livingston back in October, however Alloa won the home game against Livingston on the opening day of the season 1-0. Clearly some offensive problems in away side, Alloa as mentioned earlier been quite OK lately, and maybe will experienced striker Riordan boost the team and help them score! We predict Alloa to win this game.

Re: Scottish Football > February 15th & 16th Scottish championship....Alloa vs Livingston under 3 goals(Asian line) @ 1.5 bet366...Alloa are the 2nd lowest home scorers in the league with 10 goals scored in 11 home games. They have only scored 1 goal in their last 3 home games and 3 goals in their last 7 games.I don't expect them to score too many today. This bet would have lost twice in their 11 home games so far.On the other side,Livingston do score and concede away but today they will definitely miss two of their strikers and possibly three.I've seen this happen before where a team misses all their strikers and still score a few but I'm going for a low scoring game....

Re: Scottish Football > February 15th & 16th Scottish league one....Ayr vs Rangers under 4 goals(Asian line) @ 1.475 bet366....Ayr's home games usually provide a good few goals but today I think it might be a bit different.Rangers have the best defense in the league obviously only conceding 3 in 11 away games.Today they will miss there central defensive pair(McColloch,12 goals and Mohsni,7 goals) but I still don't expect them to concede many as Ayr miss their main man Moffat(19 league goals) through suspension.I tipped Brechin +3 two weeks ago on my facebook group page,? because I think it's only natural for Rangers, winning the league so easily to start to take their foot off the gas a bit.Their last 3 away games only produced 5 goals between them,a 1-0 win at Airdrie and two 2-0's away at Stenny and Forfar. This bet would have only lost twice in the gers 11 games so far....

Re: Scottish Football > February 15th & 16th Scottish league 2.....Montrose vs Queen's park under 3 goals(asian line) @ 1.625 bet366...Montrose have scored 14 goals in 12 home games and Queen's park are the lowest away scorers in the league with 9 goals in 11 games. The spiders last 7 games have ended with 3 goals or less,so they seem to have tightened up a bit at the back and they have only conceded 2 goals in their last 3 games, failing to find the net.Four out of five of the last 5 Montrose home games have ended in 2 goals or less.

Re: Scottish Football > February 15th & 16th

Apologies to anyone who followed this. Never saw Elgin getting 3 goals away from home.Berwick had 16 shots to Elgins 6. However it was ultimately a losing bet.
No need to apologise. You just call the match the way you see it,it's up to someone if they want to follow you or not. What you do have to be careful of in Scotland though, especially in league 2 is short price favourites.I've been watching results from this division for years and I've learned to be wary.Yesterday Stirling were supposed to be missing 10 players and the price on Albion dropped.I looked at it but only 3 of the 10 played in Stirling's home game vs Peterhead last week so I didn't post it or do it.Good luck with your future bets and keep posting....
