Re: Swansea City v Tottenham Hotspur > Sunday January 19th Tottenham to beat Swansea 2.46 @ Betfair - I think that a price of nearly 6/4 is good value on Tottenham here. Our away record has been brilliant this season with a record of 7 wins 1 draw and 2 defeats. Those two defeats came against Arsenal and Man City and the draw was against Everton meaning that we have won every away game we have played against the teams below us. Swansea's home record this season has not been as good compared to their previous 2 seasons in the premier league. Their home record this season is 2 wins 4 draws and 4 defeats. They have already lost to Man City, Arsenal, Man United and Everton at home so i see know reason why Spurs can't as they are in good form since Sherwood took over picking up 13 points out of a possible 15 in the league and having beaten Southampton and Man United away already under Sherwood. Swansea on the other hand are beginning to fall into the relegation dogfight and are in need of points to give them some breathing space. They are not in good form in the league where they have picked up just 1 point from their last 5 games and are on a 7 game winless run in the league. Swansea have had some disappointing home results against teams they would think they should be beating and they have been held at home by the likes of West Ham, Stoke and Hull. Tottenham have won their last 4 games away from home in the league and have a few key players expected to return at the weekend which further adds to why Tottenham are good value here. I personally would have priced Tottenham at around 2.2 here so 2.46 is plenty of value in my opinion.

conceded in all of these games they have gone on to win. Swansea are in a bit of a slump at the Liberty Stadium at the moment and haven't won since beating Newcastle 3-0 at the beginning of December. Also if we look at the injury list (below) we can see a number of Spurs players are expected back and Swansea still have some important 1st team players out injured, i think that this could be a massive factor in the way this game will swing. My suggestion is get Tottenham as soon as you can as the price will fall, I've managed to get 11/8 although i know it was at 6/4. Otherwise they have looked average to poor. There is no intensity, or desire to move the ball quickly. They have decent possession stats , but these are non-threatening stats. ie. they have the ball in the middle half of the field with no threat. 1st Half at home they have been poor winning just 1 st half in 10, and drawing 5 They have scored just 3 1st half goals in 10 home games which is poor. Second half they have won 5 and lost 4 Spurs have been pretty good away, but have been a bad 1st half team. They have 4 goals in 10 away games, and have drawn 6 1st halves in 10. 2nd half away, they are a different team, winning 6 of 10. Thus I really like the HT draw and the Spurs win at 5 or 9/2 various bookmakers for 2 units
