Re: Sky Bet League 2 > November 15th & 16th AFC Wimbledon V Portsmouth Over 2.5 goals @ 1.95 - bet365. Shocked to see this not at 1.67'ish tbh. We (in our new transformed lower league guise) probably average about one clean sheet away from home in six months, and both to score has come off in all our away games so far, with the last two ending 1-1. We top the average goals per game in League Two list. Although AFC Wimbledon don't appear hugely prolific, I still consider them to be an over'ish sort of side, and their styyle of play suits the odd high scoring game. At home they're similar to us, in that they don't average too many clean sheets over the course of the season. Pompey were knocked out of the League Trophy midweek, going down 3-0 to Newport, and I'm trying to avoid using such football cliches as 'looking to bounce back' :eyes but I think we will be a lot more switched on tomorrow. Both us and AFC Wimbledon are tight points wise in the table with only one point seperating us, and League Two is so tight this season that a win for either pushes them within touching distance of the playoffs. AFC Wimbledon are in good shape team news wise, and even welcome back Kaid Mohamed on loan from Port Vale. I would expect changes to our first XI as we have injury doubts over a few players, and Gavin Mahon will be suspended after being sent of against Newport. The good news is that midfielder Jed Wallace can return following suspension, as the youngster is probably one of our better players. Captain Johnny Ertl was rested midweek so will probably come back refreshed.

Re: Sky Bet League 2 > November 15th & 16th The last team against the first team. Northampton closes the standings with 10 points after 15 rounds (2 wins, 4 draws and 9 defeats , goal difference 13-22. In the last 5 meetings, 2 draws and 3 defeats. Such bad shape connected with a lot of injured players from the basics, and the list before this match certainly not diminished - Collins (15/1), Amankwaah (13/0) and forwards Platt (6/1 ), O'Donovan (11/1 ), Heath (5/ 0) - all out of the game. Fleetwood, is in top form , scoring 4 wins in a row. The last victory was in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, where the team beat Carlisle 2-0. The only loss before this meeting is striker Matt (13/5), which was out for about a month. It should also be noted that Fleetwood plays well on the road - 5 wins and 2 losses in the starting 7 meetings. Given recent form , standings and news , we can say that after this meeting, the guests will strengthen theyr leadership. Fleetwood (-0.25) at 1.84 Pinnacle

Re: Sky Bet League 2 > November 15th & 16th Bristol Rovers v Bury After a fairly barren spell Bristol Rovers returned to goal scoring form against York City in the cup (3-3 draw). Striker Matt Harold back after a lengthy layoff. Can't believe this price seeing as Bury are struggling and away form is abysmal. They lost 3-1 to Torquay last time out. Bristol Rovers to beat Bury @ 2.7 BetVic/B365

Re: Sky Bet League 2 > November 15th & 16th I was quite surprised by the odds being offered on Fleetwood to win - 11/10 on William Hill. Looking at Fleetwood's results, in Oct/Nov they won by two goals in 3 from 6 league games (3 from 3 in cups). In Sept, only managed 1 from 5 and in August they won by two goals in 2 from 5 league games. Northampton defence looks quite resilient though. They only lost by 2 goals in 1 from 5 league games in Oct/Nov, 2 from 5 in Sept and 1 from 5 in August. Despite this, I think William Hill's 11/4 on Fleetwood -1 goal looks value.

Re: Sky Bet League 2 > November 15th & 16th Fleetwood weren brilliant against carlisle midweek and looked like scoring with every attack, their manager described their performance as near to complete as possible,if they play like that again they will be hard to stop.
