  1. Wow, Whitehawk down to 6/1 now with Ladbrokes, and even lower 9/2 at William Hill !!
  2. For those interested, William Hill are doing 4/1 Enhanced Odds on BTTS & Villa Win. (Haven't checked other markets though).
  3. I see Liam Hearn (8 goals in 18 appearances) is leaving Lincoln for Barrow. Is this concerning or might it lead to good competition for his spot?
  4. Re: Vanarama Conference Premier > January 20th & 24th Great call on Chester, jirwin. William Hill were offering 3/1 :)
  5. Re: Sky Bet Championhip > October 3rd - 5th Sorry, that should have been "win over Norwich" not Millwall (Can't edit original as I have not had enough posts)
  6. Re: Sky Bet Championship > December 18th - 21st BBC website reporting that Derby's leading goalscorer Chris Martin is a doubt after suffering a shin injury in training. Of the goals this season, Martin scored 13, Bryson (Midfield) 9 & Ward (Midfield) 6. Russell is highest other striker with 5 this season.
  7. Re: Sky Bet League 2 > November 15th & 16th I was quite surprised by the odds being offered on Fleetwood to win - 11/10 on William Hill. Looking at Fleetwood's results, in Oct/Nov they won by two goals in 3 from 6 league games (3 from 3 in cups). In Sept, only managed 1 from 5 and in August they won by two goals in 2 from 5 league games. Northampton defence looks quite resilient though. They only lost by 2 goals in 1 from 5 league games in Oct/Nov, 2 from 5 in Sept and 1 from 5 in August. Despite this, I think William Hill's 11/4 on Fleetwood -1 goal looks value.
  8. Re: Scottish Football > 26th Feb - 2nd March Ross County v Inverness Caley - Over 2 goals @ 2.05 Odds are from William Hill but might be better elsewhere - I've not checked. Apart from County's keeper, Mark Brown, being replaced by Michael Fraser due to a hand injury, both teams have full squads available so the goal scorers will be going for it in this 4th derby of the season. Both teams are full of confidence, sitting 3rd & 4th in the league. Goals scored in previous 3 derbys this season… 4, 6 & 3. Goals scored in previous 8 games played… Inverness 0,3,1,1,0,1,1,3 County: 1,3,1,2,2,1,1,4 The odds on both teams to score are rightly a bit short @ 1.75 (WIlliam Hill). Over 2 goals looks good @ 2.05 Over 3 goals getting more risky @ 3.75 but if the pitch allows, it could be a real open game with goals to match.
  9. Re: Scottish Football > 22nd Jan - 27th Jan Dundee Utd v Ross County. Away Win 7/2 (Paddy Power) I'm a biased Staggy but I think the bookies are being too generous to us for the away win. Ivan Sproule looks to have fitted right in and has given us some needed pace up front. In his first game against St Mirren, he looked like he had been in the team for months. County try to play a passing game but it too often either just fizzled out or ended with a punt. The pace on the break during the St Mirren game, and the extra space created made it look like the last jigsaw piece had been clicked into place. Also, although Captain Brittain will be leaving at the end of the season he looks desparate to play his socks off for County to the end and leave on a deserved high with the fans. On the "but" side… Dundee Utd are not St Mirren! I think we could be on the start of a run, but it may be more hope than reality!
