Re: League 1 > 8th - 14th September Bradford v Colchester I think the bookies have finally caught on that Bradford are simply amazing at home. There was massive value in last weeks 2.80 for a home win but this weeks 1.73 is a tougher line. Bradford are scoring at an amazing rate. And by that I mean the are scoring with every 2.6 shots on target - the league average is about 3.4. It is because they are more clinical then most? Or just they have been a bit lucky and should we expect some regression? Colchester took a battering from Coventry last week but only conceded 2. Although they only has 3 shots an none on target for the whole game and seemed to pose little threat in their away games. They are without striker Sanchez Watt and other strikers Freddie Sears and Gavin Massey are doubts. Because of this I think Colchester will park the bus. If Bradford score early I think the game will open up and I can see Bradford going on to score at least 2 without reply. But of course that's an IF. I'll probably end up taking: Bradford @ 1.73 with bet365 Maybe a punt on: Draw/Bradford HT/FT @ 4.5 with skybet

Re: League 1 > 8th - 14th September I don't usually back my team but I think Wolves are value at 19/20 with William Hill. We are awaiting injury news on our captain Sam Ricketts after he got hurt against Macedonia playing for Wales but other than that we have a fully fit squad. We are in good form and the fans are coming back on board. Swindon have only managed 1 goal away in the league in 3 games although they did put 5 past Crewe in the last home game. Wolves have been scoring for fun both home and away. Swindon have a couple of injury worries and defender Nathan Byrne banned. If football was played on paper you would say that this is a comfortable win for Wolves but obviously it isn't like that. If Ricketts is out I think we will concede as I've seen the difference his experience has made already this season when he has been in and when he hasn't. I just feel though that 19/20 is a good price and would actually price this up myself around 4/6.

Re: League 1 > 8th - 14th September COVENTRY - GILLINGHAM PICK: Over 3.25 @2.29 Pinnacle Coventry ought to be on 11 points if not for 10 points deduction due administration, also forcing them to play their home matches on Nothampton's ground where they've well scoring 11 goals freely. The side have been helped by relatively easy schedule so far as they're yet to meet any potential top-three teams IMO. One message though is clear: the Steven Pressely men have goals in their legs and also could only keep a clean sheet last time when they welcomed Colchester. Midfielders Conor Thomas (6/0) and Adam Barton (1/0) are doubts for featuring. Otherwise, the hosts boast of a complete squad including Callum Wilson (8 goals), Leon Clarke (4 goals) and Billy Daniels (3 goals). Gillingham are league one strugglers; they're yet to cope with the league and are winless so far after their first 6 matches, failing to keep a clean sheet and have scored an average of 1 goal per match. Gillingham aren't playing too poorly; they play defensively shaky, concedes lately and wastes couple of chances. Gillingham midfielder Charlie Lee (6/0) serves a one - match ban while centre-back Leon Legge (6/1) is a doubt. Right-back Michael Harriman (4/0) is back after international duty with Northern Ireland Under-21s, while Matt Fish (1/0) is a long-term absentee. The team has goals in the legs of Adebayo Akinfenwa (2 goals) and Danny Kedwell (2 goals) Both defence have proven shaky in previous rounds of matches; Coventry are gradually unwinding their quest to recover from the 10 points deduction while Gillingham will be playing to get their first win in the league in what should wear an entertaining duel.
