Re: Scottish Football > 30th & 31st August Think that Inverness at home to a Hearts team, missing 2 suspended players, from last weeks game is worth look. Caley are on form at the moment,as are hearts who seem to playing above themselves. However at odds of just under evens, Caley are worth a wager. Terry Butcher has them all playing for each other , as usual! Could be a fiesty affair.Hearts already small squad has been further depleted by these suspensions. Small stakes on a home win.

Historically the shire have been dire so could explain odds till they show it over more than 3 games , strengthened their defence and would fancy them to win on the Astroturf of ochilview. Inverness flying at the moment , lost 2 goal lead vs Celtic last week but playing against kids of hearts. Hearts done well to come from behind (I think) last week but think this a step too far for Gary lockes team. Ict haven't conceded at home so far ,mckay has scored nearly half their goals with 3 so far so him at 9/2 first or 6/5 anytime looks great value Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2

The price certainly seems to hold some value but this league is very unpredictable.East Stirling used to always be the whipping boys of this league up to a couple of seasons ago.Peterhead have a good squad on paper but it just doesn't seem to be clicking for them at the moment.They came back late last week to snatch a 2-2 draw with Elgin and maybe that will give them some momentum.East Stirling of course have a chance and at that price are probably worth a small bet with draw cover but I'd be wary and I think Peterhead have the quality in their squad to grab a win so I'll be leaving it alone...

Re: Scottish Football > 30th & 31st August Scotland League 1....two bets here for me today.First one is Ayr to beat Airdrieonians @ 5/6 if you can get it.Ayr are second behind Rangers with 2 wins and a draw.They have scored 6 times and conceded once.Airdrieonians(new name for Airdrie) have one point from their first 3 outings scoring 3 times and conceding 10(lost 1-6 at home to Rangers).The two main items of team news here,one on each side that tempted me to bet are as follows.....Kevin Kyle(played for Sunderland,Hearts,Rangers etc and 10 apps for Scotland,1 goal) is training with Ayr at the moment.He played 45 mins of football for them vs the Hamilton u20's and scored.They hope he will play for them today as a trialist.For the away side their keeper Stewart has left and they will have an unexperienced 20 year old in goals today.....home win for me

Re: Scottish Football > 30th & 31st August Second one is Brechin draw no bet @ 4/5...Arbroath have won one and lost two while Brechin have won 2 and lost one.Today the 'red lichties'(Arbroath) will miss 6 players through injury and suspension.The most important one for me is Alan Cook(3 goals) as they have only scored 4 goals so far.Brechin come into this one on the back of two good home wins vs East Fife and Forfar and I'm on them today not to lose....

Re: Scottish Football > 30th & 31st August Looks to be a good thing opposing Queens Park so far this season, I'm showing a healthy profit from doing so. They lost a host of players from last season, and with a new squad, injuries and suspensions things haven't started well at all, they've lost all 3 games with a -9 goal dfference. Stirling Albion have stared OK with 6 points from 3 games, and despite last weeks slip up to East Stirling I'll take them for a win here. They've already beaten Peterhead and Montrose, so a Queens Park side devoid of any confidence should be there for the taking. I got 11/8 this morning at Ladbrokes but just noticed they've be pulled in to 11/10. Get on!!!

Re: Scottish Football > 30th & 31st August Dundee U/Celtic: >3.5 goals at 2/1 with Hills I'd agree with the otherwise unanimous consensus that this should be shorter than 2/1. It would be 15/8 at the very most for me so, while I would have liked a fraction over 2s, I'm still happy that this is a value bet. Over the last 3 seasons, the bet would have landed in 9 out of 14 meetings between the teams, including all 5 last season.
