Re: Europa League > Thursday 8th Augist Udinese-Siroki Brijeg Siroki Brijeg +1.0, 1 unit ---> 4.650 at Bet365 Udinese had already made sure who will qualify by winning 3-1 in Bosnia. They have absolutely nothing to play for, maybe taking this match as a friendly and experimenting with the team. What is more, Italian teams often regard this competition as unimportant, which delivered us some really surprising results from the previous years. I can easily imagine this match as a boring 0-0 draw (maybe 1-1), or a 1-0/0-1 win. This is why I lay the aforementioned bet.

St Johnstone look really short to me as they take a slender lead into the second leg against Minsk. I can't work out why they're so short tbh considering they hold the advantage. I can't see them risking too much to get the win. The unders would again be my call with neither side being that prolific, and St Johnstone having something to protect. Available @ 1.8 with Stan James.

Re: Europa League > Thursday 8th Augist Red Star - Chernomorets over 2.5 @ 1.90 As a Red Star fan and one of 40 000 people that will be on stadium tonight I hope that we will win,but the problem is that we looking so poor this season. Are coach said that we will attack from first minute which is normal when you need to win with two or more goals but that giving chance for counter attack for team from Ukraine. Biggest problem this year is our defense which is honestly ridiculous. From 3 new players that we singed last week only one can play tonight but even he had only few training with team. Cherno coach said that they will not defend their goal and they will play open football plus they have amazing players in attack Riera and DjaDjedje. I am expecting open games with lot of chances and hopefully goals as well.

Re: Europa League > Thursday 8th Augist FC Zurich v Slovan Liberec Source : DamirJ Swiss side preceded in the first leg already in the fifth minute with a goal from penalty, scored by Chiumento. However, they were unable to keep the lead in the second half, although they were better in the first half. Swiss simply fell too much in the repetition, as Liberec equalized in 66th minute, header from Rabusic, while in the 81st minute Czech side completed a 2:1 overturn. Beyond that, Zurich was left with a ten men on the pitch, due a red card given to defender Nef in 84th minute. Coach Meier was nowhere pleased with how the first leg has developed, as he commented that the defeat was unnecessary for his team. Last Sunday, they played a match of the Swiss championship and clearly lacked freshness as they went down to Young Boys 1:3 in front of their own fans. They had opportunities to stay in the game, weren’t given a penalty, while the great individual effort from opponents made 1:0 result in 21st minute. Surprisingly enough, guests continued attacking, getting the second goal in 30th minute, while the home side was only able to reduce the deficit in second, but finally admitted the defeat. Still early in the season, they have only one victory in first five official matches, beating Thun 3:2 in the season’s premiere. Under these conditions, they will have to find a way to the next round, while the coach has said that they need to have more luck than in previous matches. As said, defender Nef was eliminated in the first leg and is now suspended. Out of the action are also central defender Teixeira and midfielder Kukeli, as the coach will have to find a alternatives for this game, being without his two best central defenders – Nef and Teixeira. Liberec, on the other side, showed many positive things in the first leg, not giving up and taking over the game completely in the second half, winning finally 2:1. They scored two goals in last third of the match, going to the second leg with much better result than the 0:1 loss would have been. They managed to get a very important victory and to keep their hops alive for the next, play-off stage for Europa League. However, they know it won’t get any easier tonight and that they also have to score some tonight too. Target is to get into the lead so they would ensure the difference of two goals. They are coming from a 4:0 defeat against Mlada Boleslav in the domestic league, while the team now obviously isn’t going in the best possible atmosphere in the tonight’s game. On the bright side, their coach Silhavy will have no problems making the squad for tonight’s game. Open game is expected here as Zurich has no time to wait and should attack, while Liberec is coming for a goal to score and should be able to get it sooner or later. My Recommendation Recommendation: Liberec or draw 21/20 william hill

Re: Europa League > Thursday 8th Augist Trabzonspor v Dinamo Minsk Source: Isaiah Trabzonspor got the result they wanted to the first game away to Belarus (0:1), in a game where the Turks were better to all 90 minutes and totally controlled the game. Trabzonspor administration has made changes this summer to the team and they are now with a new coach, Mustafa Reşit Akçay, who was the boss of Trabzon 1461 during the last two years and won promotion to the second division, also led Trabzon 1461 to third position of Turkish 2.Lig last season. Trabzonspor changed almost half of their roster during summer, spent lot of cash and they hope for a great season with a roster valued around 60 millions. They signed right back Jose Bosingwa from QPR, winger Florent Malouda from Chelsea, defender Aykut Demir from Genclerbirligi, striker Batuhan Karadeniz from Eskisehirspor and lot of young players from 1461 Trabzon. Their attacking line seems stronger than ever with lot of options (Janko, Karadeniz, Henrique, Volkan Sen, Olcan Adin and Malouda). Dinamo Minsk lacked of quality against Trabzonspor in the first game and they could not managed to score a goal as Trabzonspor looked quite solid. Generally the Belarussians are not doing well lately. They lost the scepters from BATE during the last years and now they have a third competitive team, Shakhtyor Soligorsk, so another difficult season is expected for Dinamo Minsk. Now they have to line up for the miracle and unfortunately they have to attack, but they will miss Serbian striker Lazar Veselinovic cause he got a red card to the first game. A good atmosphere in the stands is expected as the Turkish fans always offer something extra to their team, while the weather is expected very hot with more than 30′c when game will be played. Surely a disadvantage for the Belarussians. I expect Trabzonspor to play free and open and offer some good football. Dinamo Minsk will try to attack and I think that this will be their main fault tonight as Trabzonspor with such attacking line can score easily especially when they are playing at home. My Recommendation: Trabzonspor 4/11 (decimal 1.36) with William Hill 8 points

Re: Europa League > Thursday 8th Augist Stuttgart - Botev Under 3 Bet365 7/10 Both teams will be without main strikers Ibisevic and Tsvetkov. Botev also miss Vander Viera, who is one of the most creative players. The match will be played at the Comtech Arena, a small stadium with 10 000 capacity, and not at the Mercedez-Benz Arena because of a Robbie Williams concert. The atmosphere will be like a friendly match. Stuttgart finished all of their pre-season friendlies under 2.5 and their first official match of the season also featured few goals - a 2-0 win against Dinamo Berlin with two goals from Ibisevic. All of Botev's EL matches so far went under 2.5 except a 5-0 win over Astana, but that was due to an early sending of an Astana player. The first match in Bulgaria finished 1-1 with very few chances and I expect a few goals in this game, too.

Re: Europa League > Thursday 8th Augist Gefle v Qarabag [email protected] (8/10) Pinnacle Gefle: first round they thrashed Trans from Estonia and then - in the second round - they meet Ahorthosis. Lost away by 3 to nil (!) but come back at home with a crystal 4-0 win. The main problem for them was the heat (away game) and the beginning of the match (with an penalty awarded to Anorthosis). Back at home they played at Norrporten Arena and easily disposed the Cypriots. Not to forget - they used artificial pitch. Qarabag: they meet Metalurg Skopje (double win with 1-0) and then Piast (from Poland) winning with a goal in ET (2-1 and 1-2, regular time). First match - played in Baku - was a tight one, with Qarabag on the driver seat, some good opportunities to score but overall nothing like one-side game. They manage to score a late goal (89 minute) so they have the upper hand now. There are several thing to notice: Gefle were stunned by the heat (was a really hot day in Baku, as it was in Cyprus); tonight the game will be on artificial pitch; All in one, I would say there's a good chance that we could see something similar with the previous game (Gefle v Anorthosis). Probably not a thrashing but something like a 2-0 or 3-1.

You forget to mention one thing and that is that Norrporten isnt Gefle normal arena. Their normal arena is to small for Europe games so thats the reson why they are using Norrporten.

Re: Europa League > Thursday 8th Augist Although I hate betting on our teams because I think they are very weak in european competitions, tonight Zvezda seems to me like a very good choice based on from what I saw in first match. Some may call me foolish beacuse result was very much in favour of Ukrainians, but that was not the whole picture. First half was pretty much even, Zvezda had great chance to take the lead but bad defensive reactions costed them two goals. In the second half, unlike in some previous years, where Zvezda would probably fell apart and conceded some more goals, Zvezda played very brave and attacking which gave them goal and a couple more opportunities before they conceeded naive penalty. Tonight in defense should start new player Martinović who arrived from China, but was a captain of Steaua for some time, in my opinion a very decent defender who should be able to make defense much tighter than in the first match. With the attacking aproach from the first game and the fact that Chernomorets plays much worse away I am very happily backing the home win which is 1.9 at bet365

Re: Europa League > Thursday 8th Augist Maccabi - Ventspils Maccabi to win to nil 1.66 Bet365 8/10 Maccabi had 16 attempts to 4 for Ventspils, 8 on target to 1. However, the Lavtians looked solid in few of the chances for Maccabi were 100%. Last round Maccabi demolished Khazar 10 -0. I expect an easy win for the home side without conceding. Ramat Gan - Estoril Estoril to win & under 2.5 3.75 Bet365 4/10 Estoril were in full controll during the first game, however failed to score any of their opportunities. At some point Ramat Gan's defense should break, but i doubt a win by a big margin.

I also took a bet on Estoril (@1,901 Pinnacle). Ramat Gan plays in Israelish 2nd Division. First match, Estoril was very unlucky not to score. They had many more posession and shots on goal.

Maccabi - Ventspils Maccabi to win to nil 1.66 Bet365 8/10 Maccabi had 16 attempts to 4 for Ventspils, 8 on target to 1.

Re: Europa League > Thursday 8th Augist

Jablonec +0,5 2,13 - Petrolul Ploiesti +0,5 1,98 - Stella Rossa -0,5 1,98 - Bruges over 2,5 1,87 Jablonec won in the last minute despite the first leg in a well deserved victory, for me today could replicate well in Norwegian land even if just a draw to go through, in the first leg Romanians rallied in the final match ends 1 - 1, it must be said that the Vitesse play better away than at home, we'll see if tonight in the Netherlands are able to do full result even if it is not for nothing facile.Stella Red lost 3-1 to Ukraine, but he did not deserve that score, 2-1 took over the game by tapping several times the amount, after that they made the omelet with a fast and rigor, tonight we devano try it for myself have the possibility of reversing the punteggio. In Belgium expect a harvest of networks in spite of the first leg ended 1-0 in favor of both Slask but throughout the game the scoring chances were not aimed lot, and tonight with the Belgian devano retrieve think assistesteremo at a festival of goals.
taken out of four red star too inaccurate in front of goal to win the opportunity they have had many :clap
