Steaua will be without Chiriches(best defender) and Tanase. They will probably play with the next team Tatarusanu-Rapa,Szukala, Gardos, Parvulescu-Bourceanu, Prepelita-Popa,Stanciu,Iancu-Piovorcarri. Szukala is the only regular defender an we can see some mistakes from the others. Stanciu and Iancu are both 20 years old and they want to show something in this game, also Piovorcarri is a new singing. Vardar is weak but in front of their own fans they will probably fight for something.

Kalju played defensive and very fysical football and had very dangerous counterattacks. HJK's play was just a mess and they could not create any dangerous scoring chances. I excpect low scoring very even game. Klubi could not score in ther domestic league last weekend. They ended up 0-0 draw against a mediocore Rops and had to trvavel over 2000 km. They also used most of their regulars. I heard that Kalju rested most fo their regulars and won comfortable. HJK has had some troubles with scoring this season and excpect their scoring drought to continue. Nomme Kalju or draw 2.30 @ Bet365 Under 1.5 3.60 @ Unibet

Re: UEFA Champions League 2nd Qualifying Round 2nd Leg > 23rd / 24th July Legia Warszwara v TNS Only in for one game heavily this week I think I've possibly been betting on too many games in these qualifiers which I haven't tended to do in previous years, I tend to have one fancy and go heavy on it. Watched the first leg and went for Legia 'in play' at 0-0 as they were obviously going to win the game..TNS then promptly scored :lol but looked a far inferior team to me, the end score was justified as in the second half particuarly TNS hardly got out of their own half. TNS's away record in europe is pretty terrible, they have lost 15 of 17 going back over the years and the 2 wins they managed were both against Irish sides, I think they blew any chance they had when they chose to play the first leg at Wrexhams ground. I don't see that changing in Poland, Legia are a good side and I expect them to get through the next round too against Molde, haven't seen that there will be any missings from TNS, Warszwara will be missing Michał Kucharczyk who came off the bench and scored in the first leg, he also got 2 at the weekend. Warzsaw rested Dossa Junior, Marek Saganowski, Wladimer Dwaliszwili, Ivica Vrdoljak, Jakub Kosecki, Jakub Wawrzyniak and Bartosz Bereszynski from their starting XI at the weekend - all of whom started in the first leg - in what was the first game of the season in the revamped Ekstraklasa, they coasted to a 5-1 victory though, the coach himself said the Ekstraklasa takes a back seat at this stage of the season because of the Euro qualifiers, so expect a focused side. 3-1 is a decent lead but not enough to get complacent and I expect a professional performance from what is a much better side in a decent atmosphere, should be at least 25,000 in the stadium and if anyone watched the first leg they certainly make some noise. Two goal margin of victory is the minimum I'm expecting. Legia Warszwara -1.5AH - 1.5 - bet365 - 10 Points Legia Warszwara -2.0AH - 1.775 - bet365 - 10 Points Will have a look at Celtic in-play tonight, the odds are currently an absolute scandal! -2.0AH at 1.24 :lol..It was probably mentioned last week that these two clubs have a very close relationship, and with Celtic already through I don't know if Celtic will want to totally humiliate them, certainly worth waiting for the starting line-up and definitely only in-play for me, the odds will rise pretty quick if Celtic start slow.

Still middle of pre-season. Want to get as much football into senior boys as possible." Also, he said he wants to play with Hooper tonight, despite his likely departure to Norwich. Norwich not playing in Europe, means that Hooper's participation tonight will not have any negative effect on his value (unless he gets injured). Big crowd is expected for the first official home match of the season. Odds are crap, but slow start might indeed provide favorable movement in odds. I think that Hooper to score a few is not a bad bet, either, in case he is a starter, as I see him fairly motivated for his last game at Celtic Park.

The handicap was initially fixed at Daugava +1 3/4, which traded at 2.40. Then it moved up to AH Daugava +2 to reach AH Daugava +2 1/4, which trades at 2.30 at the moment. Doesnt make much sense as the tie is decided and Elfborg are going to rest many regulars. However, there were many suspicious in-live betting patterns at the first match. I remember that at 0:0 at around the 20th minute, the odds on over 3.5 at bet 365 were something like 1.30. The half-time finished at 1:0, and the handicap on Elfsborg was set at -2.5 (i.e. Elfsborg to win with at least 4 goal difference), which traded at very low price. Just for your info, there were suspicious betting patterns this summer at European matches of two other Baltic teams - Trans Narva and Kruoja.

The biggest respect a smaller side can get is when the bigger club plays its best game and plays its best players. Lennon did talk before the first game about how the relationship between the clubs is very special but would have no influence at all over how they approach the game.

First, it is crowd pressure - playing in front of big crowd, full of expectations, in most cases excludes playing in training tempo. Second, Cliftonville are not like these annoying minnow from Luxembourg, Liechtenstein etc., which park the bus regardless of the score in the first game and which celebrate 2:0 losses like victories - the Belfast boys will want to score a goal for sure. Third, Scottish league not under way yet, so it is important for the Hoops to maintain good fitness before their next qualifying round (in 7 days), when they will meet a much tougher opponent. If they had a game during the weekend, this could have affected Celtic's tempo today, but now I believe they will use this as a major preparation for next week. Besides live betting on Celtic goals and Gary Hooper's goals, I think there is decent value in bets that guests will nick a goal. They will surely go for it, and having said about the relationship between the two clubs, I can see Celtic defense being more negligent, especially in the last 20 minutes (and it is not a good defense anyway).

The -1.5AH also moved out to 1.575 and is now back in to 1.45..no reason for this from a team news point of view, read the coaches pre-match interview yesterday and there was nothing alarming..anyway I added 5 extra points on each. I had over 3.5 goals in the Legia/TNS game, I was expecting Legia to go to town on the Welsh minnows.
