phildaint
hi, hope this is the right place to post this... Just curious if anyone else has tried a system similar to this, i only do it for a bit of fun and little stakes but it normally returns a profit. For example I will choose around 10 horses from 10 races and select doubles (win only) Today i chose 12 horses from 12 races - doubles 10p @ 66 bets, cost me 6.60, 4 horses won and i got 14.40 back probably not the best sytem in the world but it seems to work for me
froment
Re: 10 horse accumulator system Today i chose 12 horses from 12 races - doubles 10p @ 66 bets' date=' cost me 6.60, 4 horses won and i got 14.40 back[/quote'] I never bet on horses, but your math attracted my attention... 4 horses won, so you had 6 winning doubles; return of 14.40 GBP means average return per double was 2.40 GBP, i.e., odds of 24 (since you staked 10 p per double). Which, in turn, means average winning odds of your horses were 4.90. So, ultimatelly it falls on your selection process - if you can pick 4 out of 12 horses at odds of 4.90 (or even only 2 and 3 horses day after day), than any strategy will work for you, mate, don't worry! phildaint
Re: 10 horse accumulator system *update* same process of select 1 horse from x races and doubles, win only... 31/5 - 10 horses cost 4.50 - 5 wins, returned 4.55 1/6 - 14 horses, cost 9.10 - 8 wins returned 27.37 today i have 13 horses and will see what happens was tempted by trebbles but didnt want to put 30 quid on the line....
