3 of us attempting to combine our efforts over the busy racing period. Ive put my name forward to cover mainly the summer jumps and in truth it will be my 1st look as usually stick with the flat this time of yr but the other 2 are more qualified than me on the flat. Sure they will introduce themselves at some point. Shall stop waffling and put up my pick today. 205 Sandown Bet 365 hcp hurdle 2m3 1/2f 4 places so have decided to take on the fav Minella forfitness who has obvious claims but carries 11-11 and is up 9lb for winning well lto but the weight may just find this 1 out and the price looks about right. My selection is Black thunder with a useful claimer taking off 5lb and we have ran a close 2nd in similar company on soft at haydock. Have won over the trip and placed at the track. Early on we have won on fast ground on the flat and on breeding good looks ok. Trainer is in good form and in the last few yrs has a 8% strike rate in hcp hurdles here but 4/13 have hit the frame. 1pt ew bog 10/1

Re: Bully's, BB and ******* betting blog. ******* AKA Jolly Red . Only one for me today at Ripon in the seller at 3.30 Idyllic Star . Neil Callan booked to ride this filly, trainer claimed her out of Stan Moore's yard last season. This filly made the frame in 4 of her 9 starts last year. Callan's record for the yard is 5 wins from 23 rides on turf and on the more fancied of the stables runners is 3 wins from 7, with two others finishing runner up. Yard must be expecting a bold showing from this filly today, having her first start for her new connections. Currently best priced at 9-2

Note my bad how i wrote out the 1pt ew but it was a total of 1pt but in future if i do ew will be clearer :spankand correct but if reading it was'nt as if i said we had a cracking chance so will just have to trust me :unsure :ok

In the mile handicap at 3.30, trainer Patrick Flynn has both the top weights in the handicap, with Big Bad Billy Bob coming in for good support into Favouritism, the trainer also runs Mamma Rosa, having her first start of the season and last seen over hurdles. Mamma Rosa looks the stables 2nd string but could easily turn over her stablemate if ready to go on her seasonal debut. Her form on the flat is a lot stronger overall, than that of the Fav. Currently 12-1 with VC and I'll chance a 0.5pt Each Way with this filly.

Re: Bully's, BB and ******* betting blog. 330 Towcester Jollys boys outing is worth a small interest now as now gets good ground. 1lb higher than our last winning mark over cd but that day we pulled 11 lengths clear. Have not disgraced ourselves off 108 in class 4 here also on better GF ground. Today we run off 98 with the same claimer on taking off 5 which effectively means we are 3lb higher than when winning here by 11 length last year. Danger is there is 1 or 2 potentially ahead of the handicapper and that we seem to win when returned to the track quickly but we have placed after a break so im not to concerned. We seem to come into form this time of year and at around 8/1 looks worth a small ew bet now dropping back down into a class 5. 0.5pt ew 8/1 with PP

Re: Bully's, BB and ******* betting blog. 450 wolverhampton. Midnight dream has ran here 4 times in total and not been out the frame. Twice in class 4 hcps off 77 today off 79 but on one occasion we were slightly unlucky and only beaten a shade. G lee has deserted this 1 today which is a slight concern but the jockey today has placed on the selection before in a maiden. Still open to improvement as only had 7 starts on the aw. In my eyes we are not a 33/1 shot as we have fitness on our side and can hopefully out run the odds today. 0.25pt ew 33/1 bog

Sir Michael Stoute's unraced filly is favourite to make a winning debut but the Charlie Hills filly ran very well on her debut at the backend of last season, in a Newmarket maiden, where she finished 5th behind two of her stable mates. That run came on soft ground, generally unsuitable for the offspring of her sire, SIngspiel. She will be far better suited to this sounder surface and I'd expect her to be winning on turf later in the season, once the ground starts riding a lot faster. 1pt win at 10-3 Betvictor

Re: Bully's, BB and ******* betting blog. 7.55 Lingfield Chocolate Block is another filly by Singspiel who will be better suited to tonight's sounder surface for her handicap debut. This filly had 3 runs as a juvenile, all on soft ground over 6f and 7f, didn't show a great deal and as a result looks very well treated with her handicap mark. She could easily rack up a few wins from this lowly rating, now she is upped in trip and racing on more suitable ground. 1pt win at 11-4 Paddy power

Picked this 2yo debutant from my Blog about 2yo's with USA sire's, this is the first race for the blog and although there are 3 that qualify today, this one looks the pick of that trio. 1pt win at 8-1

Very open looking handicap, King Olav was an easy winner last time out, taking full advantage of his falling handicap mark, Shirataki and Gabrials Hope are both closely matched on previous form but Kittens could land this if she's fit to go on seasonal debut. She made good progress last year and finished her season beating the much improved Thecornishcockney, if she has improved over the winter could be one to follow this season in this type of race. 1pt win at 5-1 bog

The first is Madrasa and the 2nd is Badged. The former has proved himself over this trip with an easy win at Redcar last season, the latter is an unexposed Ex Irish performer, who was well beaten in 4 runs but at the same time was tackling some tough opponents. Badged would be the first choice if it were not for the trainer, yet to saddle a winner on the flat. So will take and each way punt on both the runners. Madrasa 0.5pt Each Way at 10-1 bog and Badged 0.5pt Each Way at 16-1 bog

Both Dawn Approach and Toronado seem to be the only likely winners of the first Classic of the 2012 turf season but I'm not convinced. Yes I would say Dawn Approach has proved himself a top class colt but will he be the same on this much faster ground, as for Toronado, again looked a good class colt in the Craven Stakes but for me hasn't beaten that much in his 4 wins, apart from his initial maiden win, he's only faced 5 rivals at most in his 3 subsequent runs, also his sire High Chaparral has just one Group 1 winner on his record, the Aidan O'Brien trained So You Think. Toronado may well turn out to be up to this task but as yet I still regard him as unproven and at the price wouldn't be one for me. A decent outsider is Moohajim who does have top class 2yo form and on lines through Cristoforo Columbo doesn't have a great deal to find with that colt and Dawn Approach, if at his best. Looked a little disappointing on his seasonal debut but this faster ground and stronger pace should play to his strengths and this Cape Cross colt looks decent each way value at 25-1 with Ladbrokes and worthy of a 0.5pt EW.

Two For Two was very impressive on just 2nd outing for O'Meara, fairly cheap purchase from the French sales, gone up 9lb for that win but won with such ease, that rise shouldn't stop him, if in the same vein of form. 1pt win at 4-1 bog

Trainer has had better fortune with his runners over the last couple of years and this season has also made a good start, 1 win from 5 runners, with only one of those 5 finishing out of the frame. This 3yo colt had 3 runs in maidens at the back end of last year, didn't show a great deal in first couple of runs but much improved on final start, running 4th on the AW. Making his handicap debut off a mark of 63. 0.5pt Each Way at 10-1 bog

Won this race off 77 today we are off 78 and a decent claimer. We also built on our win here last year and went on to win off 85 with the same claimer on board. Was on that day and i remember this 1 being punted. 4 places available and we certainly are no 20/1 shot makes this a small play at the price 0.25pt ew 20/1 PP

Her only bad run was when she went over to France. His overall level of form is fairly consistent, there are good enough excuses for his poor efforts. His run over C/D last summer in a 3yo handicap gives him every chance today, he finished 3rd behind Hamza & Gabriels Lad, 3 lengths behind the winner but is now 7lb and 11lb better off at todays weights, with those two rivals. 0.5pt Each Way at 12-1 BetVictor

Also a very notable jockey booking has persuaded me to put this 1 up. The drop in class will help. Won well lto over CD by leading all the way and hopefully the same tactics can be applied by the claimer who in theory off sets the penalty. Also this race looks weaker on paper with a average rating of 52 and the race we won here lto the average rating was 57. We won well last time out by 4l and today we should be up to taking this if the race has not come to soon but we have won races b4 close together. All in all we look the 1 to beat and i had this 1 closer to evens so will take a bit of the 6/4. 1/2 pt win 6/4 as im not totally convinced by the jock
