Re: Championship > 23rd - 27th April Worth taking Barnsley at 3.2 with BetVictor. The reason being is that if Leicester beat Watford on friday then it means Hull are promoted so they will have nothing to play for against Barnsley. Is of course a massive game for Barnsley aswell. If Leicester dont win then probably could trade out for a small loss if you like. If leicester do win then the price on Barnsley will shorten considerably. So is worth speculating on a leicester win IMO.

Thought about this match, too. Barnsley is worth the money, even if Leicester don´t win. Recently Barnsley has drawn a lot of games vs good Teams (Cardiff, Forest) showing they are hard to beat (except Charlton match). Hull aren´t the best scorers and lose pretty often (like all teams from the top do). Barnsleys home record in 2013: 7-1-2 (including the FA Cup win vs Burnley in January)...they beat Brighton, Leicester and Watford, so it´s not really hard to figure out that they have a good chance to beat Hull who were disappointing vs Bristol. Dared to watch the second half where they weren´t able to create chances vs the worst away side of this league. Odds on Barnsley look nice above 3.0.

Re: Championship > 23rd - 27th April 4pts Leicester vs Watford - Over 2.5 goals 8/11 Skybet There’s way too much at stake to pick a winner in this match and both sides go into the game in pretty dodgy form too so that makes it harder to pick. One thing I do think we’ll see is a few goals as both sides are better going forward than they are at the back and with what is on the game it may well turn into a bit of a cup tie. You make good points there, but I wonder what your reasoning is for picking the Overs instead of BTTS. Correct me if I'm wrong, but a 1-1 seems much more likely than one of these teams scoring 3 or more without reply. Even at the slightly shorter odds, this makes the BTTS a stronger bet for me.

If this is 1-1 with 10 minutes to go both teams will be desperately trying to score which is unlike most matches.

Re: Championship > 23rd - 27th April 5pts Peterborough vs Sheffield Wednesday - Over 2.5 goals 17/20 BetVictor Peterborough were in a good spell of form before their defeat at Derby last week and they’ll fancy their chances here. The pressure is on them though which could be vital. You don’t get many Peterborough matches which don’t have goals in them and given what is at stake for the home side I don’t think this will be one. They struggle to keep goals out so they are going to have to go looking for them so I expect goals here. I'd avoid the Cardiff Bolton game today as there's too many variables in play. - Cardiff return home as league winners and there'll be a party atmosphere with perhaps not 100% focus? - Leon Barnett has been recalled to Norwich. His influence on our defence was superb and he contributed greatly to the clean sheets and the end of our mini slump which saw us cross the finishing line. I'd expect youngster ben nugent to come in for him but I'd be happy to see this promising lad get a few games experience now. - talk is that Slovenian international forward etian velikonja will be given pitch time to stake his claim for a first team place. Whilst he's hardly featured for us, he has a good goals/game ratio in the reserves - for me, a big query is how previous comments by dougie freedman have been taken in by Malky and the players. Many fans have not taken kindly to his comments in recent months but you can never be too sure how things like this have been interpreted within the dressing room... Therefore, quite easily a no bet for me.
