Re: England > Weekend > BlueSQ Bet North & South Apr 6-7 Eastbourne Borough away at Truro City (3/1 888 Sports) With BlueSQ accounts being bumped to Betfair, I'm surprised to see 888 still offering prices. Eastbourne are overpriced at 3/1. Their form is not great but they tend to perform better away - narrow defeats at Eastleigh and Chelmsford straddled by wins at Bromley and Farnborough. Given that they still need a performance or two before the end of the season, they should be nothing like 3s for this one. Truro are fighting very hard, but their last ten at home have produced just four points - a draw (that should have been a win) last time out against Basingstoke and a win over Hayes & Yeading, who haven't been turning up for weeks. Tonbridge Angels away at Hayes & Yeading United (2/1 Marathon) Playing Sunday. Regulars on this thread will know that Hayes have been regularly opposed in recent weeks - a promising start to the season soon tailed off with off-the-field issues destabilising the squad. In recent weeks further talent has left and although the current starting XI doesn't look bad on paper they are not performing for the new management team. Home form is rather better than away form, but the result against Staines last night has been coming. One Twitter comment from last night: "F***ing embarrassed! I turned down moving to other clubs to play with these bunch of *****" That's from Dan Wishart, who started up front last night. As did midfielder Sam Corcoran, whose Twitter reaction was: "Never been so embarrassed in my life... f***ing joke bunch of f***ing s***houses". Maybe he was referring to the officials, and maybe their accounts have been hacked, and perhaps you'd expect a reaction on Sunday, but this doesn't sound like the happiest dressing room in the country. Tonbridge Angels have been in poor shape themselves, but the defence is over the suspensions that led me to oppose them in recent matches. They were okay in drawing against Weston midweek. 2/1 is a sporting price in the circumstances.

Re: England > Weekend > BlueSQ Bet North & South Apr 6-7

Not surprisingly Hayes' manager has left the club.
Actually, he's just moved coat pegs. He's resigned as first-team boss to resume his previous role of director of football. Delroy Preddie and Tristan Lewis, who have been coach and assistant manager to Tony O'Driscoll, have been appointed joint managers for Sunday. This is better than leaving O'Driscoll in charge but it's still perfuming a fart.

Re: England > Weekend > BlueSQ Bet North & South Apr 6-7 Good work addpea:notworthy I dont know anything about this league but price is now 1.6 staines win betfair. Seems far to short looking at the league table unless Farnborough have other issues apart from having an outfield player in goal. Its a disadvantage having an outfield player in goal but not a complete catastrophe. not as if they are playing with 10 men.

You are right the price is to short now and agree with what you say. To be fair Staines are playing well themselves and have scored 14 in their last 3 games including 7 last night, although of course as that game was last night they don't have long to recover. It is by no means a gimmie, but at the odds it was pretty big value, but now people are trying to get on who have missed the boat. Indeed it is now very easy to green up on the game should you wish to.

Re: England > Weekend > BlueSQ Bet North & South Apr 6-7 Maidenhead v Havant & Waterlooville I am happy to continue to back Havant who are on some run at the moment and even have an outside chance of the play-offs. Maidenhead need the points at the other end of the table but have lost 7 on the bounce and I think it will be 8 tomorrow. For some reason the away side have drifted out to even money and that looks well worth taking.

Re: England > Weekend > BlueSQ Bet North & South Apr 6-7

Staines town a more popular bet according to oddschecker than Arsenal and all the grand national runners. i love it when that happens:nana Ali G would be so proud.
I just hope they are already 3/4 up by time the Grand National starts so I can concentrate on that lol.

Re: England > Weekend > BlueSQ Bet North & South Apr 6-7 Droylsden v Corby Town Corby -1 at 17/10 (PaddyPower) Corby -2 at 4/1 (PaddyPower) Droylsden are now officially relegated so the players are only playing for pride now. In seven of the last nine home games Droylsden have lost by two goals or more, the games they didn't were against the very poor Hinckley and Stalybridge. These beatings have come against many of the top sides in the division, but even more middling sides such as Worcester have won comfortably at Droylsden. This is still a big game for Corby, they are nine points away from the relegation zone but Colwyn Bay who are third bottom have two games in hand. They'll see this as a big opportunity to put distance between them. They're on a mini run in that they're unbeaten in three, having won two and drawn the other. Their last victory was particularly impressive away to third place Brackley. Most importantly this 2-4 victory shows that they've got goals in them. I think the combination of an already relegated Droylsden and a Corby team desperate for points and on a roll at the moment makes me think that the -1 handicap is more achievable than the odds suggest. Smaller stakes on the -2. Chester -1 against Boston is 5/6 with PaddyPower This is a silly price considering Chester have beaten this handicap in 10 of the last 11 games. This run has included beating teams such as Gainsborough, Alty and Harrogate. Boston are solidly mid-table with nothing to play for, they were apparently pretty ropey in their win away to Hinckley so I can't see Chester struggling too much. Going to put this in a treble with Gainsborough at home to Oxford City and Corby to win against Droylsden. Gainsborough have had a tough time lately losing three and drawing one of their last four games. However, these game were agains t four of the top six. They'll be desperate to win to keep any play-off hopes alive. Oxford seem to have tossed off playing, they've lost four out of the last five against some pretty average teams. Despite their recent form Gainsborough should be too good. This is available at 4/1.

Re: England > Weekend > BlueSQ Bet North & South Apr 6-7 Yes. Same as Livingston V Dunfermiline last week. Was a huge overreaction from the market. I backed at 2.25 then layed at 2.14 before the price caved into 1.5 for a tiny profit. Still was huge value at over evens Addpea:)

Re: England > Weekend > BlueSQ Bet North & South Apr 6-7

Hayes beat Tonbridge today to cap a pretty ropey session at this level for me.
Think you may have been undone by the change of manager especially given they came from 2-0 down, they had to have found some belief from somewhere.

Think you may have been undone by the change of manager especially given they came from 2-0 down' date=' they had to have found some belief from somewhere.[/quote'] Sounds like Tonbridge decided to go deep second half - not surprising given their away results. Credit to Hayes though - and good to see Kudos firing again. On his day he looks a class player.
