Re: Malaysian Open 21-24 Mar Tournament preview: 1pt ew S.Gallacher to win Malaysian Open 45/1 Betfred (1/4 1-5) Stephen Gallacher was a runner up in this tournament last year. Louis Oosthuizen was three shots too good for him on that occasion but the South African isn’t teeing it up this year. Gallacher has already won on the European Tour this season having won in Dubai so he’s in good nick and while he’s struggled in a couple of WGC events since then this isn’t a strong renewal of this tournament so I think the Scot has every chance on a course which is familiar to him. Re: Malaysian Open 21-24 Mar Top Frenchman preview: 2pts G.Bourdy Top Frenchman 5/1 Ladbrokes Gregory Bourdy was the runner up in this tournament two years ago when Matteo Manassero was a shot too good for him but he has already shown some decent form this season when he was second in the Africa Open last month so he should be heading to the Malaysian capital excited by his chances this week. By taking Bourdy in the Top Frenchman market we don’t need to worry about the likes of Luke Donald, Charl Schwartzel or Padraig Harrington so Bourdy looks a good bet to me at 5/1. Re: Malaysian Open 21-24 Mar Top English Player W/O Donald Simon Dyson 1pt 7/1 Skybet Top GB/Ire Player Simon Dyson 1pt EW 20/1 Ladbrokes (1/5th 1,2,3,4) Taking a chance here this week on Simon Dyson who has been suffering with illness recently, had a bit of time now to recover and always take note when he plays out here. Strangely the conditions seem to favour him when its humid and hot and a forecast of 30 degrees this week will suit. Played well here last year until a final round of 74 pushed him down to 24th and fancy him to hit form sometime soon.
