Re: Serie A > 8th - 10th March Hello everyone, got the two games of last week I had offered a prediction on..hope everyone played them. I just want to give a list of the suspended players for this week, which will open with the Genoa-Milan of Friday night. GENOA - Kucka (misses turn for red card against Rome - KEY PLAYER) + Matuzalem injured ( ANOTHER KEY PLAYER) ROMA - Bradley & Guberti ( miss turn for suspension) + PJANIC (broke everything last week. Will be out for some time) ATALANTA - Masiello & Carmona - Only Carmona usually plays. CAGLIARI - Pisano - doesn't always play. SAMPDORIA - Two heavy suspensions - GASTALDELLO (key defender) & Krsticic (key player in the middle) CHIEVO - Bentivoglio - not really important loss NAPOLI - Cannavaro (defender) is a big loss in Napoli's not really reliable defense. JUVENTUS - Vidal (centerfield) is not a great loss because in the last games he wans't offering a good game play. CATANIA - Legrottaglie (defender) is a big loss. Catania's defense looses a lot without his experience. No wonder they managed to loose a game from a 2-0 lead against Inter on Sunday... TORINO - Cerci (centerfield) is a big absence... Torino looses I think 35% in the front without him. While the other two Diop & Meggiorni don't always play. SIENA - Terzi & Vitiello. Not really a problem because the are not playing from a long time. INTER - Inter will be without the man that saves their games...the golie Handanovic...big absence. BOLOGNA - Bologna will be without a key player...Konè. They will loose his goals and great performance, together with his inventivity to solve games.

Re: Serie A > 8th - 10th March Genoa v Milan Genoa have only failed to score at home this season against Fiorentina and Catania. They have also managed to score at home against Juve, Roma, Napoli and Udinese which is quite impressive. So against a Milan side whose thoughts will be on Barca for the Champions League game. Balotelli should start against Genoa seeing as he is cup tied for the Champions League so its hard to see them not scoring in Genoa on Friday evening. BTTS Banker for me - 10 points @ 1.83 1 - 1 Correct Score - 2 points @ 6.50 Udinese v Roma Udinese haven't conceeded in there last three home games so chance says there very likely to conceed against Roma. Especially as Roma have scored 2+ goals in 8/14 serie a away games. Another BTTS Banker for me - 10 points @ 1.57

Re: Serie A > 8th - 10th March Handanovic is out? Even without this knowledge, I wanted to suggest BTS @1,7-1,8. Kone is out, but Diamanti and Gila are dangerous as hell. They scored in Napoli, scored against Milan away... Inter's defense is not reliable at all and I still cannot forgive myself not playing last week's Inter game BTS.

These two have scored just once in their last six mutual matches. Balotelli had a minor injury in recent days and won't start tonight. Also, it was raining in Genoa last few days so that the pitch wouldn't be in the best condition. BTS is not banker for me. probable lineups Frey, Granqvist, Portanova, Moretti, Pisano, Rigoni, Toszer, Vargas, Antonelli, Bertolacci, Borriello Abbiati, De Sciglio, Mexes, Yepes, Constant, Flamini, Montolivo, Muntari, Boateng, Pazzini, El Shaarawy

Re: Serie A > 8th - 10th March Although Milan should be thinking of the delicate game against Barcelona, this doesn't mean they will offer a bad game against Genoa. Looking at the lineups... Genoa (3-5-1-1): Frey; Granqvist, Portanova, Moretti; Pisano, Rigoni, Bovo, Vargas, Antonelli; Bertolacci; Borriello. Bench: Tzorvas, Donnarumma, Toszer, Cassani, Ferronetti, Jorquera, Jankovic, Immobile. Suspended: Kucka (1) Injured: Matuzalem, Floro Flores, Olivera, Manfredini, Rossi Milan (4-3-3): Abbiati; De Sciglio, Mexes, Zapata, Constant; Flamini, Montolivo, Muntari; Niang,Pazzini, El Shaarawy. Bench: Amelia, Gabriel, Abate, Zaccardo, Yepes, Ambrosini, Nocerino, Traoré, Bojan, Robinho,Balotelli, Boateng. Suspended: none Injured: De Jong, Antonini, Bonera, Salamon I just want to point something out.. If we look at Genoa's team BOVO is playing in the middle centerfield. But Bovo is a defender. Vargas is playing as a centerfielder as well...but Vargas is a left wing... Genoa's positive results has started to take shape when Matuzalem & Kucka play together..with Kucka interrupting opponent game play and Matuzalem acting as a playmaker.. How will Genoa score? Who will assist the only forward Borriello?? I think Milan will prevail also considering that everyoe is available. Also looking a Genoa's defense, Portanova is 35 years old and he might suffer, together with Granqvist, Milan's youngsters upfront. The game will be tight because Genoa's coach Ballardini is a very defensive coach... It's a hard game to predict, but I'm taking Milan to win @ 1.88 (totosi), stake 5/10.

Re: Serie A > 8th - 10th March

You have to laugh at the odds on Atalanta to win @ 1.4 against Pescara. For a team that haven't won since 9th December how on earth can this be right?????
Do you mean Atalanta haven't won at home since December 9th? As they have beaten both Palermo and Siena away since then. I agree with you that the prices seem a little out of order for this match but getting involved with Pescara can be extremely dangerous for the likes of us punters. With Bergodi gone, Pescara have made 36 year old Cristian Bucchi their new coach (a former Pescara player). I know very little about him or his management credentials but I believe this is his 1st job as a coach. In one last desperate attempt to shore up the defence the delfini have signed ex-Fiorentina centre-back Per Kroldrup (Everton fans look away now). I know he has a good pedigree in Italian football, what sort of condition is he in now? can he genuinely help Pescara's defensive fortunes? Atalanta have traditionally been a countering side for the past couple of seasons, it may partly explain why their home form has not been so imperious in recent months with better results arriving away from home against weaker teams. If you look at the Atalanta lineup for the victory against Siena they have regained a decent centre-back partnership of Stendardo and Lucchini which is a big plus. I'm still unsure of their ability to break teams down at home: Bonaventura seems to be doing the business but Moralez out of form and out of favour, Schelotto gone, Cigarini injured? Denis over-played? I haven't had an opportunity to watch the Bergamo side for a while but they don't strike me as a team that rack up cricket scores on their own pitch. Pescara +1 @ 21/20 looks tempting but the forebode forecast is strong, new coach and new CB make the level of guesswork dangerously high and quite frankly they are almost blacklist material for me after watching their performance against Bologna a few weeks ago. Will wait for team news with interest but maybe leave this one alone.

Re: Serie A > 8th - 10th March Another question, will Pescara settle for a draw here? The Delfini really need points, 5pts adrift of safety. New coach maybe more offensive than Bergodi and so there is potential for the game to open up. BTS @ 6/5 could hold some +ev in these conditions. Over 2.5 @ EVS also interesting but less value imo.

Re: Serie A > 8th - 10th March Hi everyone..I just finished looking at the serie A games for this weekend...reading the italian papers etc.. For this week I would play the following, after last week's exploit with zero errors... PARMA-TORINO / PARMA TO WIN @ 2.00 (TOTOSI)First thing looking at the lineups: PARMA: Mirante, Benalouane, Paletta, Lucarelli, Rosi, Marchionni, Valdes, Parolo, Mesbah, Amauri, Biabiany. TORINO: Gillet, Darmian, Glik, Ogbonna, Masiello, Brighi, Gazzi, Birsa, Bianchi, Barreto, Santana. Torino is without Cerci. This reduces their possibilities of scoring by a good 35%. Ogbonna is back in defense giving Torino a lot more security. But what surprises me the most is that Parma hasn't won a game yet in 2013. Infact in the last 8 games, Parma has been able to obtain only 3 points. Considering that Parma hardly looses a home game, and that Torino should be somewhat satisfied for what they have done, I really this Parma are going to take the 3 points backed up by a really strong crowd. Technically they are a lot better than Torino & the price really has a lot of value. STAKE 6/10 INTER-BOLOGNA / OVER 2.5 GOALS @ 1.65 (totosi) Always looking at the lineups: INTER: Carrizo, Zanetti, Ranocchia, J. Jesus, Pereira, Stankovic, Gargano, Schelotto, Guarin, Alvarez, Palacio. BOLOGNA: Curci, Garics, Sorensen, Cherubin, Morleo, Perez, Taider, Christodoulopoulos, Diamanti, Gabbiadini, Gilardino. We should note the fundamental absence of Inter's golie Handanovic on one hand and an extremely important absence of Konè for Bologna. Inter looses a lot of security and "miracle saves" in the back, considering a very sloppy defense and Blogna looses a lot of creativity up front. I really think the two teams always play to win and actually a point each is useless. Inter can really get scored on by anyone in these days while Bologna doesn't amuse when playing away. Palacio will surely score at least a goal while Inter's defense will surely conceed one. We should easily have our over. STAKE 8/10 I would stay away from Palermo-Siena because it's a death match for relegation. Really the last opportunity for both teams, a sort of Reading-Aston Villa. Palermo should win the game though. Stay also away from Chievo-Napoli, because Napoli has a really bad tradition against the Verona side, so any result could pop out. Udinese-Roma is unpredictable as Roma is a wild card, together with Cagliari-Sampdoria, where I would see the home side a little ahead due to Sampdoria's absences. Juventus-Catania should end with a Juve victory, but priced @ 1.30 it's not to bet on. You never know a surprise behing the corner. That's it for know I'll keep everyone updated from Italy...

Congrats on the win! You couldn't have guessed that one any better! I banked for both the BTTS and the 1-1 correct score line! I sure hope you were confident enough to lay more down than me though. You seemed convinced of the outcome! Nothing but a big thank you from myself for this one! :nana

Re: Serie A > 8th - 10th March With a lack of games being televised this weekend in the EPL, and more to the point that I don't really have a whole lot going on this weekend, I thought I'd spend some time doing a little digging into other leagues and what games look like I can squeeze every last drop of value out off. So with that being said, I thought I'd concentrate on the bigger clubs since at least I can say I'm familiar with them. So that left with me looking at Inter up against Bologna. Inter will be looking to come out gun blazing against their next opponent Bologna who have lost 9 of their last 11 away matches in Serie A. Looking at the facts, I also pulled out another interesting one to cast your eyes on and that is Inter have won 11 of their last 13 matches against Bologna in all competitions. So with that being said, I see Inter giving it their all and getting a good victory to try get the fans behind them. So for me, I'm going with the following bet: Inter -0.5 AH @ 705/1000 w/ Ladbrokes The second game that I fancy tomorrow is Lazio up against Fiorentina. Now looking on paper, this game looks like a tougher match to break down, but what's keeping me in the game are the odds are fairly juicy for a Lazio win, especially considering they are playing at home. They have a great record at home compared to that of Fiorentinas poor performances on the road. With that all being said, I'm going to have to go with the following bet: Lazio WIN @ 6/4 w/ Ladbrokes With both games being played tomorrow, I might stick a cheeky few quid on the double to keep things interesting. Here goes nothing!

Re: Serie A > 8th - 10th March Torino is also without Meggiorini and Diop, however Parma as belfodil not at 100% and some few Others with litlle niggles. the draw is very probable here, given the fact that torino has only lost 4 away and Drew 8. but i think it is time for parma to score a goal and torino with these 2 3 missing, will have problem to score, even if parma is conceding to much. 1x is teorically a banker and good for treble to double your money, and 1 for parma can be tryed also without giving away bloood. I like Fiorentina away at lazio. I think that Lazio is overperforming given their squad.

Re: Serie A > 8th - 10th March Careful about Fiorentina. They're simply awful on the road. Despite winning against Chievo last round, they had another bad game, and were fortunate to win. Pizarro - Cuadrado and Valero is an impressive trio but they will have to play against a solid midfield, so I don't expect that Fiorentina dominate the possession in this one. It's a 6-pointer for the UCL stage and Lazio are totally different at home. They gave rest to some regulars against Stuttgart, having in mind this game and still won 2-0. They've learned how to play with Klose's absence. Odds are way to high on Lazio. +0 @1.86 :hope:

Re: Serie A > 8th - 10th March Just can't imagine Inter without Handanovic, without him they would have lost 8-1 against Fiorentina and perhaps 6-0 against Tottenham. Their defense is just disastrous and they will have to deal against Gilardino - Diamanti - Gabbiadini co. Inter are celebrating their 105th anniversary and will try to avoid a possible negative result against Bologna, means they will have to play more offensively. Also they are in a must win situation for the first three spots as Milan are four points above them. Bologna's away performance is a concern since they have been struggling on the road, but still they should be able to score against this awful Inter defense, at least one goal. Over 2.5

Re: Serie A > 8th - 10th March very difficult match, lazio.fiorentina; IMO there is more and more quality in Fiorentina squad, i think that a draw will be the more probable result, Lazio in last matches on serie a, only win against Pescara, Fiorentina plays very well very often also on the road and deserved more pts than the one accumulated

IF EVERYONE FOLLOWED MY POST ALL THE PREDICTION, WAITING FOR TONIGHT'S MATCH WERE GOOD.

Re: Serie A > 8th - 10th March

very difficult match' date=' lazio.fiorentina; IMO there is more and more quality in Fiorentina squad, i think that a draw will be the more probable result, Lazio in last matches on serie a, only win against Pescara, Fiorentina plays very well very often also on the road and deserved more pts than the one accumulated[/quote'] equally good teams, perhaps Fiorentina are slightly better on midfield zone, having Pizarro, Valero, Cuadrado and have a lot of options to use on midfield but Lazio's defense is way better than the La Viola's and they have arguably the most in-form goalkeeper of Italy, Marchetti. I don't think any of these two teams will play for a draw today as it's a 6-pointer. What scares me that Fiorentina sometimes can show up with incredibly good displays against the big sides. But, remembering their last match that against Chievo and their performance, I am backing Lazio +0 with enermous price in this one, perhaps with a 2-1 outcome. :hope:

Re: Serie A > 8th - 10th March

Hello everyone, got the two games of last week I had offered a prediction on..hope everyone played them.
Very good info, keep it up, hope willsee it again for this week, thanks.
