Re: England > Weekend > BlueSQ Bet North & South Feb 23 Staines Town away at AFC Hornchurch (29/20 widespread) The early shows of 6/4 have gone in the past hour, but there is still value here. Staines are showing some signs of life, with key players back in the starting XI and some promising showings from Tyrone Marsh. They've looked better organised away, with successive clean sheets and wins at Truro and Bath. AFC Hornchurch are on a run of eight without a win and although they've probably deserved a bit more at times, they do seem to be prone to basic errors. They are not creative enough against sides who keep it tight and often cave in when the more gung-ho outfits go at it. It'll be a tight affair, but for me Staines will have the edge. Eastleigh away at Hayes & Yeading United (21/20 Boyle) BetVics drifted briefly to 11/10 but there is still value here. A few weeks back this thread was chasing down a monster price about Eastleigh at home to Farnborough - a match they duly won - and despite a blip at Sutton it's reassuring to see their away form tick up, with successive wins at Weston and Staines. Hayes will be harder, but for all the home side's decent football they are not at all clinical, especially at home, where they have won two in eight, conceding in all those games, and in truth both the wins (against Weston and Basingstoke) were narrow and scratchy. Tom Collins is in good nick for them, and Adam Bygrave and Tom Cadmore are useful performers, but much of the rest of the team has a transitional feel to it. There also isn't much clarity off the field, though that may change sooner rather than later. Eastleigh have momentum and are better equipped for dealing with a heavyish pitch, although I wouldn't go below Evs on this play. Droylsden away at Bishop's Stortford (9/2 widespread) A curious call, but the constant squad changes at Droylsden maybe having some effect with the point at Harrogate - deserved, too, with Danny Stimpson looking a particularly good signing to shore things up at the back. On the flipside, of course, they haven't got many others (draws at Staly and Oxford City are all the points on the road they can lay claim too). But it might be a good time to oppose Bishop's Stortford, who've lost Blair Sturrock this week (to Basildon of all places - closer to home, apparently). They've won just two in ten at home (Sturrock scored in both of those) and performances have largely been tentative. It'll take plenty of things to fall into place for this to come home but given the transitional feel to the home side, there is enough of a sniff for me to take on a big number, though it's not one for widows and orphans.

Re: England > Weekend > BlueSQ Bet North & South Feb 23 AFC Hornchurch v Staines Town Horns last win was 29th Dec against fellow strugglers Ricay. Last four games at home are three draws, in which they had to come from behind to get a point and a 2-0 loss to Maidenhead. Reading the Tonbridge forum who they played midweek, they said that Hornchurch are the worst team in the league. At home they've got near enough 2/3 of their points so far, however they played at home more times than anyone else. Staines new loan striker Tyrone Marsh scored v Truro which has helped them win the last two on the road. Staines are much better on the road recently and a win here could see them pull themselves 6 points clear of the drop zone. Staines will score but will Church manage a late equaliser? Draw 50p says so. Billericay Town v Bromley Ricay sit second from bottom but they've got games in hand to pull themselves out of it and they will. They've just come back off a run of five away matches, in which they drew v Clarets, got stuffed v Spitfires and a last minute winner denied them a point at The Magpies. A 4-2 win @ Truro playing the match with 10 men for 65 mins and a loss v Salisbury who I would not back against at home. Bromley have not won since mid January but recent accounts have them playing fairly well. Away form guide says they either win or lose with only a couple of draws. Going for Ricay on this one, they last played at home on 1st Jan and the locals will be looking forward to this one. Home win 50p on it. Boreham Wood v Dover Athletic Wood beat Salisbury midweek, but Salisbury dont travel. For me this is the biggest test so far this season Wood face against a high in confidence in form Dover. Despite only condeeding only six goals at home they have some very strange results. Goalless draw v Bath & Truro, a 1-0 defeat v Weston. It seems reading a report they were lucky v Salisbury. Dover have won the last three scoring nine goals in the process and I cannot see Wood coping with the firepower Dover have. Away win 75p Chelmsford City v Sutton United Top Scorer Jamie Slabber will again be missing for Clarets as he completes his suspension. Only having gained 1 point out of 6 it seems the aforementioned Mr Slabber is a big loss and couldnt have come at a worse time. Playing in form teams without your top striker just makes the job harder and there is no shame in losing to Eastleigh who are a good side. Coming back to score with only ten men v H&W says a lot about the character in the dressing room. They do come up against Sutton who've won the last three all be it at home, most noticeably v Welling. Away form is a poor when you look at when they've played the top end of the table. A fairly recent 1-0 loss v Salisbury. They've only managed to pick up a two points out of 15 against sides above them in the league. Chelmsford to edge this one. 50p bet Farnborough v Eastbourne Borough I quite like Farnborough at home as they are fairly consistent especially as they score quite a few goals. They've not scored in all but three matches at home v Welling, BW & Bath. Eastbourne do have the eighth best defence overall but the lack of goals at the other end is big problem. This is reflected in that they have not scored in the last three. I can see this team being relegated unless they start nicking draws but with 15 games to go I can see them getting maybe 10 points on present form. Home win £1 on it. Havant & Waterlooville v Salisbury City Hawks haven't won in three matches, but two of those were creditable draws v Farnborough & Chelmsford. Nine of the goals at home they've scored in the last two matches played there. Worringly for them though they still have to play three of the top five sides, one of those is Salisbury whose recent poor away form is not that bad. Losses v BW, Easleigh and local rivals Dorchester. Reading their forum it would suggest they create lots of chances and the fans remain upbeat. A win here will see them at least keep pace with Welling or maybe regain top spot. Salisbury win 75p Hayes & Yeading United v Eastleigh Hayes are 21st in the form guide for matches played over six games. There are irritatingly annoying. You never quite know which side are turning up and will surprise you like wins at home v Welling & Chelmsford but then lose v Truro. One thing I think is certain is that they will score at some point, but whether one goal will be enough against Eastleigh who have been in good form recently. A couple of wins playing good sides and reading the match report v Chelmsford they should of been out of sight at HT. Eastleigh win 75p Maidenhead United v Basingstoke Town Maidehead either win or lose at home. Basingtoke generally lose away. Straight forward I hope. Home win 75p Tonbridge Angels v Dorchester Town Angels put an end to three straight defeats letting in 10 goals. But winning v Hornchurch in an ugly match sent the locals home happy. Having looked at the Tonbridge forum they reckon 12 points would be enough for them to avoid the drop. 3 of the 12 were not against Dorchester where they think any points 'would be huge'. I do happen to agree here, as I like Dorchester. The leagues joint top goal scorer and new signing Kiefer Moore has three goals in three matches, already Dorchester are thinking that league scouts will be after him. Quick, mobile, good touch and good in the air. Should be a interesting match and once again I am going for Dorchester win £1 Weston-super-Mare v Welling United Only one point from four matches at home for Weston. The next few matches will define there season as rearranged matches and the fixture computer has them playing Welling, Salisbury twice and Chelmsford between now and 9th March. So a win here would do wonders for the recent downturn in form and give them confidence. But no, I cannot see it. Welling will want to continue their push for automatic promotion and should do with ease. Welling win 75p

As far as i understood you seem pretty sure about Maindenhead,Dorchester and Welling. You have made a short preview about every single match you are interested in.Congrats about the efforts you've made, but i think it will be much more helpful if you write what bets you are about to place instead of giving info about all of the matches of the round. No offence, mate!:unsure

Re: England > Weekend > BlueSQ Bet North & South Feb 23 Duly noted, addpea & Simeon borisof. Will only post matches I am sure of in future. I do however back all matches in this league myself as its more of a hobby than a serious money making scheme and the stakes I place are more for fun. All I want to do is make a few quid for my club.
