Aidymac
Re: Serie B > 28th January In 3 previous meetings, Brescia have never lost to Juve Stabia. They currently lie two placed above Juve in the table, in 9th place. Brescia won this fixture 1-0 last season, and have never conceded a goal to Stabia. Should be a tight game, but Stabia have conceded in their last 5 consecutive home games. All meetings so far between the sides have gone under. I fancy Brescia not to lose here, all the stats point to a Brescia result. *Brescia +0.5 Asian Handicap > 10 Points @ 1.63 Bet365* *Under 2.5 Goals > 10 Points @ 1.79 188Bet*
azzurini1976
Re: Serie B > 28th January another one taken from weekly newsletter: JUVE STABIA – BRESCIA Juve Stabia had much troubles at the start of the season as the team really took time to get used to playing without their first star Sau (now starter in Cagllari) and it seemed coach Braglia was loosing the plot as he tried much different variations of tactics. But at one time they were doing great (like last season at same time) and they gathered points that put them on the position they now have on the table. Team was quite influenced by injuries and misses, but since Zito came back, all was better performance wise, but again they had a drop in results. Their advantage is playing on artificial surface and often they are far more attackingly biased at home, also unlikely hero for them in first part of the season, oldie Caserta - he even wasnt a starter for Braglia but after Zito got injured he stepped in and showed excellent determination and often he was instigator of Stabia going forward. With his form dropping a bit towards the end of first part of the sesaon, also Stabia did not get the needed results. Brescia probably one of more complete teams in the league but lacking player(s) that could give them goals on regular basis. Team that has three or four excellent indiviudals that will probably be sold at the end of season if Brescia does not promote (Lasik, Daprela, Salomon, Caracciolo Andrea). Brescia did not impress me in first part of the season as their performances always lacked something extra when going forward (Caracciolo did okay as a target man, but lacked support from Corvia and expecially Mitrovic, who had an awfull first part of the season), but they can be one of hardest teams to play against as their defence looks solid. Last game against Varese, they lost it really unfairly, they were in 2-1 lead and red carded in 42nd minute and from that moment on even though Varese tried, Brescia looked more likely to score from counter. They dis loose at the end, from one set piece and one long range effort - but not fairly I must add. Key for them will be attack, if they can click there and Caracciolo can bang goals in with support of talented midfider Saba they can go up, surely. Stabia had a quiet market and only sold two players that gave them a bit more depth and a cover in case of injuries: att Danilcevicius and midf. Erpen – both will be missed and they did not bring replacements so their window was on all accounts bad. Also for this game hosts will miss Bruno att 12/2, Gorzegno def 8/1, Genevier midf 19/2 and Scognamiglio def 18/3 and IMO missing of last two will show on the pitch. Brescia as said brought back def. Caldirola, but overall had a quiet window with no major stress. For this game De Maio def 21/2 (Caldirola instead of him from 1st minute) is banned, while Russo gk 1/0 and Lasik midf 19/1 are out as well, imo only Lasik missing will show in this match up. It is a hard game to bet on, I liked Brescia in Varese, but what Varese showed in the weekend games was awful really, so hard to judge the quality of Brescia display. I do bellieve that Stabia will want a win that will put them again in play off positions, but overall this game has a makers of a draw written on to it, Stabia has home pitch + artificial surface advantage, while Brescia has far better defence but Caracciolo might again start from bench so Corvia and Mitrovic in first eleven, and even though they both scored in last game, I simply dont like them as an attacking pairing. A Lot will also depend on Saba in att midf formation as he looks a good player on this level. Overall this one is a no bet for pre game adventoures, teams are pretty much even, but there is one interesting fact: in 3 games these two played so far in B – still no goals scored for Stabia and all game went under the 2.5 goal line, score is 2-1-0 for Brescia. McNasara
Re: Serie B > 28th January Juve Stabia will be without Scognamiglio (key defender) due to suspension and Genevier (key midfielder) who will leave the team. Topscorer Danilevičius left the team, too. Brescia will be without banned De Maio (key defender) and injured Salamon (another key defender). Brescia has adequate replacements for both missing players, Antonio Caracciolo (def) will play in centre of defence along with new/old player Caldirola (former Inter youth and quality defender). So IMO missings wont play major role in this game. Also Caracciolo (Andrea - attacker) again from bench and Mitrovic from the start.
