dave
You always hear people saying that you shouldn't play at a level too high for your bankroll. Of course, that's obvious. But what is a reasonable bankroll? Should you have a bankroll which is 200 times the big blind on the table you are playing? Or 300, 400? Mr Intensity
Re: Bankroll Mmm, in every other forum it's a bank but in here it's a bankroll for all the wannabe gangstas:lol I'll call your snizzle and raise it a nizzle:dude
aliensyndm
Re: Bankroll Alot more than 200 times. If you're playing a 0.50/1.00 pound table the buy in is 100 quid. Hence 200 times the BB is only 200 quid, 2 buy ins, nowhere near enough I'm sure you'd agree. I'd suggest at least 1000 x the BB or 10 x the max buy in at the table, at least. Preferably more. Norfolk Enchance
Re: Bankroll Thats nowhere near enough Dave What Alien suggests is more reasonable. Personally for cash games I go for 20 x the max buy in at the table. :lol @ Mr I
dave
Re: Bankroll I normally play with about 500x, so looks like i should be dropping down a level.
Jezza
Re: Bankroll No limit hold em is a high variance game dave, personally I have experienced -35 times the max buy in for the table in the space of a month as my worst -ve swing so I would suggest even more than is, possibly 50 times the max buy in.
