It's too early to say whether AFC Telford have turned a corner but I think they've shown improvement against Braintree and Luton. I'm happy to sell the time of the 2nd AFC Telford goal at 76 with Sporting Index. They've got a better blend going forward with Jake Reid as the point of attack, Nathan Rooney back in the groove and Steve Jones involved, while Alfreton are often blundering at that back. Steve Jones's goal minutes are a tempting buy at 18 but he needs to start in a central role, and it's not clear yet that he will. Favourites backing has been a liability this season in the Prem (although meat and drink to spread punters!) but it's very hard to see past Forest Green Rovers today. Stockport - who I thought were doing moderately well under Jim Gannon - have had a terrible ten days off the field, with squad trimming, a management change and a general feeling of rudderlessness. FGR are 0.6 to buy on the supremacy at Spreadex and I'm happy to play. Despite the conditions being against goals, I've bought total goals in the Newport/Barrow game at 3.1 with Spreadex. It's a bit high and probably too risky for a normal day but with Danny Rowe coming in at Barrow they will have a sharper look at front and it should mean Adam Boyes will have a bit more of a chance with the knock-downs. Newport should score but I feel Barrow might offer more in an attacking sense today. Finally, I'll risk a buy of Matt Green's goal minutes at 22 with Sporting. Southport have improved but they definitely allow opponent plenty of chances on their own patch. Green is in good nick, too, and the bulk of his goals have come in the past ten games. Newp/Barrow goals came in 1.1 under - I expected both sides to score. Matt Green didn't notch and AFC Telford didn't score twice for losses of 22 and 14 points respectively.
