Re: Beating the Hot Things Our Joey 13.50 Kelso 0.5e/w @ 7.5 (BOG) 1/4 1,2 Our Joey who may provide the main threat. He was in the process of running a big race at Ayr last time when crashing through the wing at the second last and providing he's none the worse should get into the frame.

Re: Beating the Hot Things Grace and Fortune 14.40 Plumpton 1 Pt Win @ SP It could be worth siding with Grace and Fortune, however, after she displayed marked improvement at Lingfield most recently. Having just her second start over timber on that occasion, she thrived coming back in trip and enjoyed getting her toe in.

Re: Beating the Hot Things Welsh Bard 13.30 Lingfield 0.5 e/w @ 7.00 1/4 1,2 At the likely odds, we'll take Sash of Honour on with WELSH BARD who didn't run at all badly on his hurdling debut at Wetherby where he was easy to back. A winner on the Polytrack, it's anybody's guess how he'll handle the heavy ground but should go close if getting through it

He improved rapidly throughout last season, winning four of his six appearances, and is reported to have schooled very well over fences at home.

Re: Beating the Hot Things Sanctuaire 13.50 Cheltenham 0.5 e/w @ 7.5 (BOG) Sanctuaire is the confirmed front-runner in this line-up and, although no match for the favourite in the Tingle Creek at Sandown last month, he is fancied to hold out for second spot on this occasion, ahead of Kumbeshwar, runner-up in in the Tingle Creek, and the progressive William's Wishes.

Re: Beating the Hot Things Achimota 14.30 Leicester 0.5 Pts e/w @ SP The Society Man won a selling handicap hurdle at Market Rasen on Boxing Day but Achimota is feared most on the back of a reasonable Doncaster performance last time out.

Re: Beating the Hot Things Crystal Swing 14.20 Towcester 0.5Pts e/w @ 15.0 1/5 1,2,3 Fairly useful form in bumpers and creditable efforts to find the frame on last three runs over hurdles latterly over 2m at Doncaster at the end of December.

Her two wins on the flat came in the mud.

Re: Beating the Hot Things Flaming George 16.15 Huntingdon 1 Pt Win @ SP Flaming Gorge hasn't raced since winning a novices' chase for Paul Nicholls at Wincanton in May last year but he looks the principal threat to his former stablemate.
