Re: England > Weekend > Northern, Southern and Ryman Prem Nov 3 A few plays... East Thurrock United at home to Hampton & Richmond Borough (7/4 widespread) A very decent price about an ETU side who have been cup distracted but are continuing to play some decent stuff. Hampton are a tough nut to crack but I don't think they are quite as good as they should be for a side at the top of the pile - they've good forwards and solid central defenders but I think they are sometimes guilty of over-elaborating the tactics in midfield. Hampton have been close to being turned over several times recently (they wouldn't have complained had Whitehawk and Leiston taken the points), and it finally happened at Wealdstone in a game not as close as the 3-2 scoreline suggests. ETU's problem might be finding the back of the net, but at this price I'll take them to do so. Stafford Rangers away at Blyth Spartans (15/8 PaddyPower) Stafford haven't done a great deal away but they came up with an excellent performance against a good Chorley side, and the suggestion is that they are moving up though the gears after a period of bedding in. Blyth's last clean sheet came in August and they do tend to get exposed by form sides. They'll be stinging from the drubbing at Worksop but there's little wiggle room in terms of personnel and it looks like a downbeat few weeks for them. Hednesford Town away at Whitby Town (6/5 widespread) Strong and direct, and with possibly the most potent attack in the section, Hednesford will prove a problem side for the less than solid outfits. Despite Whitby's run of form, I class them as that - they've only beaten Grantham and Stocksbridge at home and they are still conceding daft goals. Hednesford are one of the better sides away with only six conceded in six. Whilst I am not Rob Smith's biggest fan I think he has too many weapons on his side this weekend and I make them cheaper favourites than this.

Re: England > Weekend > Northern, Southern and Ryman Prem Nov 3 i have taken worksop at chorley, risky as chorley are one of the better teams in the league but 11-5 is too tempting for me. as i have mentioned before i saw worksop demolish hednesford 4-0 some weeks ago and put it down to a fluke but recent results would suggest not, high scoring wins at nantwich, marine and buxton plus an eight goal demolition of blyth makes them a team to keep an eye on
