FLAT RACING SAT 23RD JUNE

4.25 ASCOT WOKINGHAM trickiest race of the whole meeting and usually i find this race unfathomable but for the first time in while ive actually had a notebook horse laid out for this race in the shape of DESERT LAW ,i just thought his run against stone of folca looked mightly impressive and with no penalty he was always going to get in here off a decent weight and lo and behold he has got in off bottom but 1 weight 8-13 .secondly i wanted a decent draw preferably near to one of the rails and ive got draw 3 so as far as im concerned its all systems go with my notebook horse .there are plenty of dangers of course ......the ones i have noted are the improving lui rei ,waffle is coming into form but doesnt seem to know how to win ? marauche music also looks decent and even colonel mak is due a big race soon .......biggest danger could come from lightning cloud in the stall next to desert law and they can take each other on for the lead ........connections of desert law also won this race in 2007 and maybe they can do it again . desert law 10pts e.w 16/1 bet365 bog lightning cloud 5pt win saver 10/1 bet365

Re: FLAT RACING SAT 23RD JUNE anyone have an idea what that ground is like at Ayr, its described as good to firm, same as it was today but theres lots of comments about the horses on racing post saying "may prefer quicker ground" etc... pretty quick is good to firm isn't it?
