Re: England > League 2 > April 28th Crawley and Torquay are fighting for the last auto promotion place so both have a must win game . Crawley (DWDWDDWW) have by far the easiest opponents in Hereford (DDLDLLLL) who although are fighting to stay in the league should be well beaten but 1.36 is not tempting.

Torquay (LDDWWWLW) who have not won in the last 3 games however have a tough game with Crewe (WDWDDWWW) who are looking for a play off place and are unbeaten in 14 games and are an attractive price @ 3.5. Also after watching both Torquay and Crewe at Crawley I think Crewe are a much better team therefore I shall be backing Crewe away at Torquay @ 3.5

Re: England > League 2 > April 28th Swindon Vs Port Vale Whilst I fully expect Swindon to wrap up the league title in front of their home fans this weekend, I think there is more value in backing the correct score. Being new to this site, I don't know whether this is mentioned every other week but Swindon have kept 18 clean sheets in their 22 home league games this season. I don't see any reason to think this wont be the case again. This season at home Swindon have drawn 0-0 twice, won 1-0 four times, 2-0 seven times, 3-0 three times and 4-0 twice. I therefore like the look of; Swindon to win 1-0 @ 6/1 (various bookmakers) 1pt Swindon to win 2-0 @ 13/2 (Coral & WH) 1.5pts Swindon to win 3-0 @ 11/1 (Coral) 0.5pt

Re: England > League 2 > April 28th In keeping with my usual strategy I will be opposing Crawley in some fashion. Crawley are 14-5-3 this season against dogs of better than 4.00, but 3-4-1 in their last eight home games in these circumstances. Hereford, meanwhile, are battling to escape the drop and have a good record as a big dog away: 3-8-7 as a dog of better than 4.00.

Hi Bobby and welcome. I have been posting about Swindon's clean sheets this season and have tipped Swindon To win to Nil several times on this forum. I was actually intending to do it again for the weekend as 2.62 with Blue Sq is massive value however this time there is a big but. Just before Gillingham game Di Canio suspended several players including goalkeeper Foderingham for late night partying. This resulted in Swindon losing 3-1 and watching the highlights I think the second goalkeeper was responsible for two goals and the third was a penalty. Di Canio said he'd welcome the players back in the team if they apologise so I'm now waiting for that. If Foderingham plays I will back Swindon to win to Nil, if he doesn't I'll leave it.

Re: England > League 2 > April 28th Thanks for your response Maliniok. Being a Gills season ticket holder I was actually at that game and reckon your being a bit harsh on Phil Smith. However what I've read about Foderingham has all been good. It sounds as if he'll be playing as well so hopefully you'll get your bet on. Macclesfield Vs Burton I'm going to tip the worst team in the league here, purely on the basis that they basically have to win this to stay in the league. Macclesfield won't fancy their chances away to Southend in the final game so this game really is a must win. And when you're desperate for a win there's none too better than Burton to be lining up against.Off the back of 4-0 and 7-1 defeats to Aldershot and Bristol Rovers respectively, Burton don't come into the game with much form. In fact their last away win was on Boxing Day. Two wins in their last 22 doesn't make the form any better either. So on the basis that Macclesfield need to win and burton are rubbish I think 11/10 is a fairly decent price. Macclesfield to win @ 11/10 (William Hill & BetVictor) 2pts I'm also tempted, if i can find a bookmaker with decent odds for the lot, to do a 3 way accumulator on Swindon to win to nil, Macclesfield to win and Shrewsbury to win. Should be looking at something around 6/1. 1pt

Swindon to win to nil taken.

Re: England > League 2 > April 28th I should have listened to you Maliniok rather than going for the individual scorelines. Oh well I'll learn from that. As for Macclesfield, they performed like a team at the bottom. In hindsight I should have gone for Barnet seeing as they're inspired by the new manager and were up against a mid table team. I'm not sure how I missed that one. Hindsights a wonderful thing. As for Swindon, I'll look out for the win to nil with them next season. They'll obviously be facing a better standard of side but Di Canio obviously sets them up in a way that restricts the opposition scoring so it could be an interesting one to watch next season.
