Re: Italy - Serie B - 20-23 April Ascoli V Brescia Brescia +0 @ EVS (Betdaq) 2.5 Units We still have approximately 7 rounds left to play in Serie B which means there are still a lot of points available to be won. In Ascoli and Brescia we have 2 teams which should both still be strongly motivated at this stage as they are facing potential relegation and promotion respectively. Brescia took a bit of a knock by loosing at fellow playoff hopefuls Sampdoria last week but a fatal blow it was not as they are still only 3pts away from those coveted playoff positions. For me there are 4 teams contesting two available remaining playoff positions (5th and 6th) Varese (56pts) and Padova (56pts) are the sides currently occupying promotion street but Samp (54pts) and Brescia (53pts) are hot on the trail. Brescia have looked utterly formidable since Alessandro Calori took over in December. They were good at home but even better on the road and the team is really setup for playing on the counter. They soak up opposition pressure like a sponge then spew the ball back in the other direction with lightning speed and excellent one touch precision, usually via the playmaking wizard El Kaddouri who is simply too good for this level, watch out for him. Brescia are by no means a one man team though, they have a great spine with Di Maio, Salamon, El Kaddouri and Jonathas forming a lightning rod of talent. Important defensive midfielder Salamon missed the recent defeat to Sampdoria through suspension but he is back in the squad to face Ascoli and this will be a big boost for Calori’s men. Ascoli have been doing well of late and have won 2 on the bounce but they were against poor sides in the form of Albinoleffe and the chronically out of form Cittadella. If Ascoli had not received a 7pt deduction they would currently be lying in 13th place so they are certainly not a poor side and have some good attacking players including double figure striker Papa Waigo. They have grabbed some key wins against teams in and around them which means they have hauled themselves up just above the relegation playoff zone but I feel this Brescia side is going to be a real test for them. To summarize I feel there should be a reaction from Brescia in this game, key DM Salamon returns and the biancoazzurri know a much coveted playoff place is still very achievable despite defeat to Sampdoria last round. That game aside they have been very strong on their travels under Calori and they have the capabilities to edge out the home side here. Full draw cover available at EVS? A speculation worth making in my opinion.

Re: Italy - Serie B - 20-23 April

Ascoli V Brescia Brescia +0 @ EVS (Betdaq) 2.5 Units
FT: Ascoli 3-1 Brescia = BET LOST I didn't watch the game but it would seem that excellent Brescia defence has lost a bit of confidence recently. I really thought they would bounce back today but perhaps a slight underestimation of Ascoli's form on my part, clearly they are mentally strong at the momment and came from behind in this game after Jonathas gave Brescia the lead. I am still keeping a close eye on this league as there are still a fair few games to play but already preparing for next season where I will posting tips more frequently in Serie B, winning tips mind you! Apologies if anyone followed.
