pperezxli
Re: La Liga - April 21-23 First view: Mallorca - Zaragoza Zaragoza still believe in miracle. They're five points away from avoid the relegation. Rubén Micael (29/1, but key player in last games with good performances) will be suspended, Mateos and Pinter will return from their suspensions. Mallorca almost in Primera next year. Ultracompetitive team with Caparrós, altough they don't score too much goals. They played well at San Mamés. Chico is injured, and Gonzalo Castro is out of form. I think will be a tight game, two coaches (Caparrós and Jiménez) who like to play strong defense, Zaragoza must win and Mallorca without pressure. Personally I don't see value in overs in this game. Sporting - Rayo Vallecano Rayo Vallecano is recovering some players that didn't play against Atlético, like on-fire Diego Costa, goalkeeper Joel and back Pulido. Sporting almost in relegation, they're 8 points behind Granada and Villarreal. A lot of internal problems in Sporting, Rayo playing for nothing. Line of goals is 2,75 because of last games in El Molinón have been a goal festival. I don't see values in this match. Barcelona - Real Madrid I will write a post specifically for this match. After the Champions League first leg we will see. Sevilla - Levante Sevilla at home with Michel are strong. Levante was unlucky against Barcelona, they play solid, strong defense. I don't think Sevilla at 1.60 have value, under Michel they're a irregular, inconsistent team. They have a lot of injuries like Kanouté, Reyes, Perotti or Spahic. Javi Venta, El Zhar and Pallardó are questionables for Levante. Thinking of Levante +0,75 2.15 at Bet365. Granada - Getafe Getafe won last night 5-1 to Sevilla, but they're a team that play very well against big rivals, but struggles against little teams. Granada were unlucky at Zaragoza, they deserved the draw. Getafe far from el Coliseum 3 defeats in a row (without scoring a goal). Granada one win in last 6. Maybe is a "no bet" game, but considering to back Granada. Getafe is playing for Europa League, but Granada is playing for relegation. Getafe against teams like Granada suffers a lot. Real Sociedad - Villarreal Lotina is the key. He's a mediocre, loser, ultradefensive coach that is destroying Villarreal. Real Sociedad managed to draw with 10 man against dangerous and in-form Málaga. I think Real Sociedad should win this game, they're playing a lot better than Villarreal. Out of El Madrigal, Villarreal showed bad defense like in Benito VillamarÃn when lost 3-1 to Betis. Carlos Vela is on fire. Real Sociedad over 1,5 goals 2.10 at Bet365 Racing - Athletic Club Bilbao Last chance for struggling Racing. Against Bilbao who is playing Europa League this week. Altough they don't play for nothing, Athletic have been competitive in La Liga (they have European place guaranteed after reaching Copa del Rey final against Barcelona). Racing played surprisingly well at Villarreal, altough they're a disaster of squad. They know that they're in Segunda next year. No bet game. Atlético Madrid - Espanyol I do really like Espanyol. But far from home they're showing bad perfomances like in Pamplona. Atlético is playing Europa League this week against Valencia (a tough clash). I should back Espanyol but out of their home are disappointing. Maybe the Draw is a good choice. Espanyol recovers star Coutinho. Atlético looks tired, they're playing La Liga and Europa League with only 14 or 15 players. Valencia - Betis Betis in good form. Without pressure, they don't play for nothing. Valencia is playing Europa League this thursday, and have a lot of problems, with Coach Emery leaving at the end of the season, they're been discussions with captain Albelda and star Soldado. Maybe laying Valencia is a good choice, with on fire Betis playing for last chance to reach Europa League. I will take Betis +0,5 at 2.25 Bet365. Osasuna - Málaga Osasuna without key player Raúl GarcÃa. Málaga got unlucky against ten man Real Sociedad, they deserved to win. By the way, striker Rondón is in poor form, and substitute Van Nistelrooy is not the player who wondered the world at Manchester United and Real Madrid. Osasuna is strong team at home. Both teams playing for Europe. Cazorla and Isco are on fire for Málaga. I don't know what to take in this game. Maybe overs but I don't see value. c0ld22
Re: La Liga - April 21-23 About Barcelona - Real Madrid game, I think it's no doubt who will win this game, Real madrid have nothing special, winning most of their matches with their star players personal accomplishments. I watched all Real Madrid games this season and didn't look convincing at all to me away from home. Also this year they reached the UCL semi-finals do to a very very easy route to this stage. Last night they scored do to a huge mistake from a very young german defence, they didn't exist in attack, this being a shameful display from such a high rated and arrogant club. Also Atletico looked more dangerous to me and puted more pressure until they conceded the second goal from Ronaldo, a goal that was against the flow of the game I think. We all know Barcelona, they are a football machine on home ground, also they will be more motivated because Real is above them. I'm not a fan of Barca or Real, I hate them both actually because they are all about money and lost the passion and the fair play. My picks for this game: Barcelona -1 AH @ 2.025 over 3 goals @ 2 with bet365
ThemanwiththeSTATS
Sporting gijon vs Rayo vallecano. Over 2.5 goals Where do I start ? 5 of sportings last 7 have been overs. 7 of rays last 9 games have been overs. Last time they met there was 4 goals. Sporting will be relegated but will certainly go down attacking and this will suit Rayo. I can't see this game going unders at all. 5 points @$1.70 tab sportsbet. airplay
Re: La Liga - April 21-23 Barcelona vs. Real Madrid I'm going with 0.5/10 on [email protected] and 0.25/10 on RM [email protected]. Of course, we can all assume Barca will once again win, Real will concede a few goals and that's that. But personally, I think neither side has exactly been blazing lately and overall, I'd say Real Madrid have been the better side this season. Sure, they came under pressure, but they've managed to carry that crucial four point lead into the game and essentially have nothing to lose. Further more, I think the gap between these two has never been 5-0, in fact the way I see it, two things have been hampering Madrid: One is Messi, who's made the difference on more than one occasion and the other is their lack of belief in being able to beat Barca, aka confidence. Apart from the CdR final, after a long fight and a tight result, they haven't beaten Barca in four years! They came close in the CL clash and should really have won the CdR leg in January. But I have my doubts they'll play with that sort of desperation and resolve today, a defensive performance seems more likely by Mourinho, which means it could end in a draw or double chance for RM. But I'm not totally convinced and would have to up my stake to make it count, but blowing my bank on a heated game like El Clásico doesn't seem the way. Which is why I'm going to play this one on the odds. Real Madrid have to win sometime, perhaps today, perhaps not, but at these odds there is no harm in playing it low and if I lose, that's fine. I'm just looking forward to the game, really. :)

ThusPrider
Re: La Liga - April 21-23 El Clasico Barcelona vs Real Madrid Ive had success and failures betting on El Clasico through the years. The most recent of which I backed Real in both legs of their Cup game, in which Barcelona eventually qualified. Real took the lead in the first leg at home, only to lose 1 - 2. I thought it was a bit weird how Barcelona rallied playing away from home, with a home leg to come. I then backed Real away from home at handsome 5.50 odds. Real played extremely well and should have taken the lead in the first half. Though two quickfire goals put Barcelona 2 - 0 into the lead. I thought bullshite, this one is over. I couldn't believe my eyes when Real leveled at 2 - 2 in the second half. Deserved, but never expected them to score 2 at the Nou camp. They rallied late on, and had plenty of time to find a winner, though never managed to. A late Ramos sending off completely killed off their charge. Mourhino is being his usual arrogant self in the build up to this match. This is the title that is Real's to lose, unlike the Champions League, which is there to be won. Even if Real loses this game, I still feel the title is over. A difference of 1 point is massive in La Liga between these heavyweights. Though Real cannot afford to drop their tempo. Mourhino apart from one success against them in the cup, has only beaten Barcelona with turtle strategies with Inter. With Real Madrid he cannot deploy the same tactics Chelsea used, though I'd expect Real Madrid to play very compact and make life difficult against Barcelona. In my opinion, currently there is no team that can outplay Barcelona, even with a coach as brilliant as Mourinho. Both teams come off midweek losses in the Champions League, and have a busy fixture list ahead. For Real Madrid, Bayern can rest players after the German league is now beyond them, whilst Barcelona's opponents Chelsea have more commitments against Arsenal. But still I would expect no reservations from the teams. Both games were rather tame, and though the Bayern - Real game finished over 2.5, it could have easily finished below. Chelsea won 1 - 0, though Barcelona had at least guilt edged chances they should have scored from. Though the odds for unders is too good to resist. Never a comfortable night of viewing backing unders. I wish I could have found value on overs to cheer on both teams and hope for goals. Though every mug and his dog probably thinks of that, making overs shorten dramatically. Under 2.5 6/4 Williamhill 4/
c0ld22
Re: La Liga - April 21-23 the lineups from Marca: Barca: Valdes - Alves, Mascherano, Puyol, Adriano - Xavi, Busquets, Iniesta - Pedro, Messi, Fabregas Real: Casillas - Arbeloa, Pepe, Ramos, Marcelo - Alonso, Khedira, Di Maria, Ozil, Ronaldo - Benzema I like Real's lineup, the same from Munich except Coentrao is out. There is no way they can keep a hold of the ball with Khedira and Di Maria in, I was afraid of Kaka starting tonight but he won't, so I don't have any expectations from Madrid. About Barca, Mascherano presence in the centre of the defensive concerns me. He was made a fool by Drogba a few times and marking Benzema or Ronaldo with be more difficult. Edit: The spanish press is sure that Tello will start, the first eleven might look like this: Valdés; Alves, Mascherano, Puyol, Adriano; Busquets, Xavi, Thiago; Iniesta, Messi, Tello

Ben Fourie
Re: La Liga - April 21-23 The final of Liga tonight. Barcelona must win, Real Madrid will be champion with a draw or victory. Since two years, this game is a psychological war and for the moment Barcelona > Real. I think Mourinho will try to win tonight, a victory at Camp Nou and Real will take a big advantage on Barcelona, not only for the Liga but also for a probable CL final. Best offensive teams in the world actually, I expect a open game tonight. Over 2,75 @ 1.72 - 3U
