Atko
Re: Ligue 1, 18/19 Feb Going to get involved for the first time in a while ... - Bordeaux -0.25AH @ 2.14: Bordeaux haven't lost at home since the opening day of the season and have really started to pick up under Gillot following a poor start. The addition of Mariano has helped solidify the defence and Obraniak is already proving what a fine addition he is on the wing. Their 5-4 win at Lille last week will have kept spirits high and they have enough firepower in the in-form Gouffran and Jussie to get goals here. Lyon will be one of their tougher tests this season but Garde's men aren't great travellers, had a tough match against Nicosia in midweek. I always feel les Gones are naive on the road and up against a shimmering Bordeaux side at present, I think they'll have it tough. These two met in the cup a few weeks ago in Lyon and it was 1-1 after normal time. With home advantage, and half draw cover, I'll back the hosts to get a win at decent odds. - Saint Etienne -0.25AH @ 2.09: I can't make head nor tail of Rennes. Very inconsistent side, but that's what you get with young players. Should be an even match but I fancy ASSE with home advantage and the fact tricky winger Gradel returns to the fore. ASSE are strong on the flanks with Sako, Gradel and Nicolita to choose from and I feel they'll get joy up against two inexperienced full-backs in Faulquier and Theophile-Catherine. Aubameyang had a good CAN and scored in ASSE's 1-0 win at Toulouse. The hosts are big enough for me to have a nibble, especially with Rennes' inconsistencies. :hope

It seems ASSE won at a canter but Bordeaux was much more hard-fought. They are really picking up under Gillot now. Will enjoy the top-of-the-table clash in Paris tonight with a nice red.
