Sorry for taking so long to reply. Only come on here to update this thread recently. No idea about EW. I suspect, as with almost every other system, opting for EW increases the proportion of bets you make a return from - so less losing bets, but decreases the overall profit. I would need to go back through the results to test though.

Re: Southwell(AW) USA System There isn't much AW racing over the summer months as it was designed to allow horses to run in the winter. I thought this might have something to do with it. The stats for this system have 3 months which show a loss since 2003. January, May and June. It seems odd that January should be there as it is in the middle of the AW season! There have only been 35 bets (3 winners) in June over the years. I cannot come up with a good reason why these months would be losers so I will not exclude them. Just a statistical anomaly I reckon! They will come good eventually :)
