grazza
Re: Snooker: Welsh Open How do you rate doherty's chance against hendry? I have doherty outright for the tournament, is it worth backing hendry to cover my liability?
Paul
Re: Snooker: Welsh Open +9.24 for the tournament, but I think I'll save it for the next tournament unless I see a bet I like:ok
Sir Puntalot
Re: Snooker: Welsh Open How do you rate doherty's chance against hendry? I have doherty outright for the tournament' date=' is it worth backing hendry to cover my liability?[/quote'] I have him too, but I'm not prepared to arb him, because if he beats Hendry he's in the final imo. :ok
Sir Puntalot
Re: Snooker: Welsh Open Well Doherty lost to Hendry 5-2, but Hendry had 3 tons, so didn't give Doherty much chance. :( Hendry will batter Mark King on that form. Don't discount Hawkins beating Ronnie, but he does need a good start. :ok
dave
Re: Snooker: Welsh Open Paul Is it worth selling Mark King's top break @ around 79.0? I'm pretty sure he was nowhere near that in his last match, and though his results have improved I've never really seen him make a decent break. Do you know what his top breaks have been so far this tournament?
Pobby
Re: Snooker: Welsh Open My good run of form came to a shuddering halt with the Hendry v Doherty game last night. I'm thinking of going "All In" on Hendry against King. I can't see that King has a chance. Match supremacy 13 to buy. Volcano 185 to buy. Big break supremacy 35 to buy. I won't go near the O'Sullivan Hawkins match. I will buy the 50 ups tomorrow if it's Hendry v O'sullivan depending on the quote.
dave
Re: Snooker: Welsh Open Well I can answer myself about the QF match, his top break was 55, the only one over 50 he got. Any idea about previous rounds?
dave
Re: Snooker: Welsh Open Found out that his breaks against John Parrot were 65, 53, 45, 40 and 48. Against Matthew Stevens he made 66, 98 and 96. Against Steve James his top break was 50. Given that Stephen Hendry is playing pretty well King might not get too many chances, so I think I'll be making a small sell @ 79.0 of King's highest break. ------------------------------------ Ronnie O'Sullivan has hit 2 centuries in each of his matches so far, so a buy of his highest break @ 102.3 looks good. staffy
Re: Snooker: Welsh Open Again I will continue to support O'Sullivan and go for a maximum 10 point bet @1.25 with betfair. Hopefully easy money.
dave
Re: Snooker: Welsh Open O'Sullivan hits a 127 in frame 4, so at least 24.7pts profit on that bet.
dave
Re: Snooker: Welsh Open Ronnie knocks in a 146 to finish the match, giving a profit of 43.7pts :nana :cow I just hope Mark King doesn't come anywhere close later tonight.
dave
Re: Snooker: Welsh Open Mark King manages a 54 in the opening frame, and nothing bigger, so that's another 25pts profit. Very successful semi-finals :dude :beer
Sir Puntalot
Re: Snooker: Welsh Open Sorry dave, was out and about today. You can always check previous breaks by looking at the scoreboard on www.wheelsinmotion.net and clicking All Scores. :ok Glad Hawkins didn't win, because I would have been :puke but nice to see I am right about him, this kid is gonna do some serious damage in the future. :ok
Sir Puntalot
Re: Snooker: Welsh Open 10pts Hendry Win @ 2.38 >Betfair Ronnie will be far happier to be going in level at 4-4 after the first session. Hendry has outscored Ronnie in a big way so far in this final, and this tourny has seen him look very sharp indeed, scoring very well. So good has been his performance, I am very tempted to back him for the World Championships in April/May, but I will wait until closer the time. Ronnie has had 59 and 62 breaks in the final, whereas Hendry has had 97, 67, 140, 57 and 69. Amazingly you can get 2.38 on Hendry to win the final session this evening, a superb price based on the above.

Mullahoran
Re: Snooker: Welsh Open You have to back Hendry for the World title whether he finishes Ronnie off or not tonight because the 10/1 will be long gone. With the 10/1 you can give yourself up to a 3 to 4/1 free bet more than likely sometime in up to the World's start.
2damnhype
Re: Snooker: Welsh Open Can't see Hendry at 4/1 even if he wins the remaining tournaments between now and the World's. Although if nothing else he must have proved to himself this week that he can still cut it.
Mullahoran
Re: Snooker: Welsh Open Your not reading me right, i am pretty sure he wont be 10/1 tomorrow + you will be able to lay somewhere in the season in the region of at least 7/1 giving yourself a free 3/1 bet. Great match tonight
