  1. Re: UK Open 6-8 Mar Whilst the format makes it very interesting you can't get away from the fact that one of big boys normally wins. It's been going since 2003 and Taylor has won it 5 times; Barney and Wade twice; and Lewis, Sholten and Thornton 1 each.
  2. Re: Betway Premier League Darts 2015 - Week 2 Good stuff that. Chizzy only got 1 last all albeit he only played 8 legs. Taylor still goes downstairs too much so my bet is Lewis 180 sup @ 1.2 with SPREADEX
  3. Re: Conference and Conference North/South 6th December Wealdstone played very well in beating St Albans 3 - 0 on Tuesday night. That's 4 unbeaten including the two FA Trophy games and I think they might be turning a corner. 5/4 at home against one of the two teams blow them looks like good value to me.
  4. Re: Arsenal v Galatasaray SK > Wednesday October 1st Arsenal really need to win this one and I think they will. They will be attacking lot and with the hope that Gala can hold out or nick a goal I am backing Arsenal corner supremacy at 3.25 on the spread. They got 15 to Tottenham's 5 on Saturday.
  5. Re: Oscar Pistorius Type Bets PP have cut Oscar from 7/4 to 11/10 to be guilty. Interesting that there's no jury and the judge decides. I think he's guilty, but will be found innocent.
  6. Re: The Ashes - Australia vs England Very surprised with the 1st test odds. I'd have bitten your arm off for these odds a month ago. Sometimes I get put off a price when it's too good as I start doubting it, however, not in this instance. I don't read too much into the English poor preparation and how and where have the aussies improved since the summer? England outplayed the aussies in the summer and I fully expect them to do so again. My bet for the first test is England's first innings supremacy at 10 on the spreads. The batsmen appear in fine fettle and there is the possibility of an a
  7. Re: GAA Championship 2013 A draw! London 2 points up with 5 to play. Replay next Sunday in Roscommon which is a stitch up as it should be in Ruislip. The GAA definitely don't want London to be in a Connaught Final.
  8. Re: GAA Championship 2013 London 15/8 to beat Leitrim. Leitrim have had a bit of disruption in the camp and I'll back London to follow up the Sligo victory this Sunday.
  9. Re: Wuxi Classic 17-23 Jun Brilliant! Carter might be expected to win, but the call on Perry is tip top, first class stuff.
  10. Re: ICC Champions Trophy 2013 If Swan plays I'll back England, if he doesn't I won't. The one worry is that Amla is more than capable of doing what Sangakkara did. This made me laugh from ABDV - good job he's not commenting on it! Added needle to the game. South Africa captain AB de Villiers admitted he was worried about the claims ahead of the meeting at The Oval. "If they are doing something funny with the ball it's definitely a concern, yes, but we've got no proof of that," said the 29-year-old Proteas skipper. "They seem to get it to reverse quicker than the other teams but mayb

  12. Re: World Championship 20 Apr - 6 May That's a very interesting bet. Going off at a tangent have you considered selling Hawkins at 19?
  13. Re: England > Midweek > Play-off semi-finals & Northern Prem Apr 30, May 1 I was at the Wealdstone v Concord game, how Wealdstone did not win I do not know. A total reversal of the league fixture between the two.
  14. Re: 6 Nations I thoroughly enjoy watching rugby and have done for years, I've been to quite a few matches as well, however, I'm still no nearer to understanding it especially the scrum. Reading the reports after Sunday's game many of the plaudits went to Adam Jones and he's now an apparent shoo in for a Lion's spot. Could someone enlighten me to exactly what he did/how he does it? Obviously the Wales scrum was dominant given the number of penalties England conceded. I don't believe he is just pushing harder that his opposite number although I suppose that helps. Is he getting inside them b
  15. Re: 6 Nations I read this on Staurday and it put me off a large bet on the spread whereby I was going to back England. Thanks for that - saved me a good few quid!
