This could be just the quality of summer racing, but if I had not bet on NH at all I would be +20%. I need at least one full season of NH racing to lay before I decide whether or not it is worth continuing with it though. 2) Take fewer odd-on bets. Make sure that there are both negatives with the fav and positives with at least two others. 3) Take lower odds in maiden races. The odds in these races represent a large amount of "potential". Again, just be more selective as above and take lower odds 4) Staking too high a % of the bank. 10% is too high, and would feel more comfortable with 7 - 8%. I will do this by diversifying systems and bets 5) Need better records to figure out why exactly I layed a horse and to see what works and what doesn't. Right now they just aren't up to par. It's not good but the same thing happened last month and the normal good run following the bad pulled us out of it. Just have to go through the frustrating time when results are choppy.
