Eels -6.5 @ 2.75 centrebet Pissing down rain the last few days which should suit the conditions for the slippery Eels. Actually can see Hayne raining down the bombs on Barba in this game, as handling will be a major problem for both sides. The Eels like playing against the Bulldogs, having won 6 of the last 8 matches, and they have played pretty well in the last month for little reward, while the Bulldogs have been poor. These two teams, and supporters, do not like each other, and like the Eels, who have shown the better form, to beat a disorganised side like the Bulldogs, who have been out of touch for awhile Storm win by 1-12 margin @ 3.00 centrebet Both teams are playing well with some very good playmakers on both sides, who are capable of winning this game for either side. They both are two of the better defensive sides in the game, and expect this game to be a tentative one, such as the respect they have for these gamebreakers. Can see this being a game where they will shut each other out, and with players on both sides canceling each other out, expect at hooker, where Smith is a class above McCullough and like him to be the difference between the two sides, as the Storm edges this

Re: NRL: Round 20 Titans -1.5 @ 1.98 centrebet Titans -7.5 @ 2.90 centrebet The Titans have struggled of late but they will fancy their chances of winning here given that the Cowboys were found out last week by the smaller but more mobile Tigers forwards, and with the Titans pack of similar make, like them to give Prince some room to work with. With no Thurston for the Cowboys, there is an opportunity for Prince to create some holes for his runners. Besides Bowen, the Cowboys do not have a playmaker of similar ability, while Bird too can be a factor for the Titans. Also with this being Prince's 100th game for the Titans, then like the Titans to lift for him. Roosters +4.5 @ 2.01 centrebet Roosters -3.5 @ 3.75 centrebet Roosters should have won last week and will be looking to bounce back here while the Tigers played well in beating the Cowboys last week, who were without two key players in Thurston and Scott. They face a Roosters side who have pretty much a full strength side and match up well with the Tigers. They have beaten them in 6 of their last 8 meetings, including the last 4 games, so the Roosters have enjoyed some success and doubt that the Tigers will get their way so easily as they did last week, as they easily found some holes with the bigger Cowboys feeling the humidity last week. At a cold and wet Leichhardt Oval, the Roosters can keep this close, and like them to do enough to edge this. Sharks -1.5 @ 2.02 centrebet Sharks -7.5 @ 3.00 centrebet Prior to their thumping by the Dragons, the Sharks were playing pretty well but got found out by one of the better teams in the competition. They were probably due for a loss but now meet a team of similar ability, and with the conditons at home that should favour them, like them to beat the Knights, who were also easily beaten last week by the Sea Eagles. The Knights rely too much on Gidley and Mullen, and while the same can be pretty much said about the Sharks with Gallen, they have quite a few young players who are playing with enthusiasm and effort, and with Gallen leading the way, like them to win this one.

Re: NRL: Round 20 Titans -1.5 @ 1.98 :wall Titans -7.5 @ 2.90 :wall Led by 8 at half time and looking good and then gacve up 2 tries in the first 10 minutes of the second half. Struggling from then on, though they did get back in the lead midway, they were always looking likely to lose Roosters +4.5 @ 2.01 :wall Roosters -3.5 @ 3.75 :wall Once again looking good at half time with a 12-8 lead and then they too give up 2 tries in the first 10 minutes of the second half to eventually lose by 7. Sharks -1.5 @ 2.02 :( Sharks -7.5 @ 3.00 :( No Gallen, and it showed in their performance

Re: NRL: Round 20 Souths to win Fancy the Bunnies today their last 5 matches have seen them win 3 and lose 2 but they have a never say die attitude at present and with Inglis and Sandow going great I fancy them to win, Warriors won their last 2 but hard to gauge their form as it was the Dogs and Titans they beat both in Auckland, Jhonson and Locke are the keys for the Warriors but I'll go with the Bunnies. Might eve be worth a small punt on draw at half or full time also. Manly 1-12 Hard to see Manly losing here but I have a feeling the Panthers will make a real contest of it. MNF - Raiders Win Dragons won well last weekend in what had to be their best performance of the season 38-8 over the Sharks while the Raiders are going from bad to worse losing 26-0 away to the Storm. But in stark contrast the Raiders have won 11 of their last 12 against the Dragons, including twice last season when the Dragons finished the year by winning it all. The Dragons have lost their last 6 away to the Raiders and at $3.10 I'll put some money on them to see if the Raiders continue to be the Dragons bogey team.

Re: NRL: Round 20 Agree with the Rabbits pick, bird, but believe Manly will roll the Panthers :cheers Rabbitohs @ 2.03 centrebet Rabbitohs -6.5 @ 3.30 centrebet Rabbitohs will have their confidence up after beating the Roosters last week in a game they were fortunate to win. They have players starting to come into form at the right time of the season, and with a good solid pack, that matches up well with the Warriors pack, they do edge the Warriors in the backs, with Inglis out wide should get quite a bit of ball against the smaller Moon and Berrigan, while Sandow should be able to continue to make an impact here. They have beaten them in 4 of the last 6 meetings as well as the last 2 games at ANZ Stadium, and like them to do it again here Sea Eagles -9.5 @ 2.11 centrebet Sea Eagles -15.5 @ 3.15 centrebet Panthers have lost Lewis for this game which is a big blow for them as they are going to find it difficult to break down this Sea Eagles defence without him. They will look to kick, and kick often, but Manly have some good backs under the high ball and doubt that they will have much success in scoring points. As for the Sea Eagles, they are riding high in 2nd position and smashed Newcastle 32-10 last week. The forwards give the team plenty of go-forward while the halves are playing well and then the back 2 are very good finishers of the backline moves. Manly tend to travel well and have beaten the Panthers in 4 of their last 6 meetings, so like them to continue their good form against them here.

Re: NRL: Round 20 I'm with you Blackcrow re Manly over Penrith. Given the obvious dominance of the top 4 teams this season, it seems that backing against them is potentially foolhardy. Whereas the teams in the mkiddle of the table are clearly less consistent (case in point is Souths v Warriors - a case can be made for either team, so, from a punting point of view, it's one to leave alone. If I was to bet, I'd actually favour the Warriors based on slightly better form). As you say, the Lewis out is significant for the Panthers and I expect the Sea Eagles to maintain its recent momentum. As for Monday, it is quite extraordinary that the Raiders have such a strong record at home v the Dragons. But, applying the above logic, and on the back of last Monday's demolition of the Sharks, I fully expect St G to beat Canberra - and easily. They simply have too much form, momentum and class across the paddock. Added to which, I would imagine the coach would want to arrest the record and position the team for a top-2 ladder finish. GL all.

Re: NRL: Round 20 Dragons win by 1-12 margin @ 3.00 centrebet Dragons, with a near full strength side, easily did away with the Sharks last week 38-8, as they look ominous leading into the semi's, while the Raiders were smashed 26-0 by the Storm. On paper, you would say that this is a game that the Dragons should win by 20+ points, but the problem is that the Dragons have lost 11 of the last 12 games with the Raiders. Also they have not won in Canberra since 2000 and the Raiders have won each of their last 5 games (since 1984) after they were scoreless in the previous round. With the Raiders also tending to play well at home, and at night, then there is cause for an upset here. However, the Dragons are a very class side, and hoodoos can be broken, and like them to beat them, since, you can talk all about situations and past records, but what is more important is the form the players are in, and the Dragons are showing the form they are capable of. Will not be easy for them, as the Raiders will lift at home, but class should prevail in the end.
