MPLouis
Re: Carling Nations Cup Yee guys do realize that this tournament isnt over today? After each team plays eachother the tournament turns into a cup where 4th place plays 1st in the semis and 2nd vs 3rd... I don't think you're right about that, I think this is the last game, and will decide the tournament. As I see it from the table, Ireland are ahead on goal difference so a draw is enough for them to win it, but Scotland have to beat Ireland to win the trophy - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/13574700.stm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Nations_Cup

After each team plays eachother the tournament turns into a cup where 4th place plays 1st in the semis and 2nd vs 3rd... Ireland @ 1.90 on Paddypower :cow Ireland are just too strong for this Scottish side and they should definitely win this one, Cox looks to be a great asset to the team and there are a lot of players playing who will definitely relish the chance to prove themselves...im attending the game tonight unfortunately as it makes me sick to see the empty Aviva stadium so lets hope the scots bring a few over as im sure they will..:ok Ireland won but Scotland definitely deserved something and their support was excellent, Miller should have scored near the end. A great performance from Cox also, hes definitely in with a shout to start in macedonia imo...so overall a great tournament where the favourite won in every game so happy days, WELL DONE IRELAND..CHAMPIONEEES!!:cheers:cheers:cheers

IrishStokie
Re: Carling Nations Cup This tournament is bloody awful' date=' one sided games in empty stadiums..been good for profits but can't imagine the tournament will survive another year.[/quote'] Apparently a tournament with Ireland, England, Wales, Scotland and the North for some 100 year anniversary is supposed to be on next year but Carling were having none of it saying that theyll end the sponsorship if they carry through with it so i guess it will be on next year ;)
