  1. Williams S. - Sevastova A.

    over 2.5 sets @3.25 with Bet365

Serena is playing great despite her arse being a stone overweight. But Pliskova was quite close to winning the first set against her when 4-2 up.

Anastasija has a not very secret weapon; the drop shot as well as being very good in most other departments as she's shown us thus far.

I don't think Serena will enjoy this match but will win it but may well lose a set to the shrewd Latvian.

    good luck all :ok

K.Nishikori/N.Djokovic - Over 3.5 sets at 1.91 with Paddy Power

The only bet that I'll be taking from the SFs is this one, as Djokovic is yet to impress me in this tournament and as I think that he's yet to face a tough test. The draw has been very kind to him and yet he's struggled physically with the conditions, hard to say what his real level is. Nishikori, on the other hand, has beaten much stronger players over the couple of rounds here and he certainly has what it takes to keep this at least somewhat tight quality-wise. I don't see him winning, but a 3-0 result doesn't look all that likely to me either.

you make a great case for a Nishi win CP so I'll be on him.

Pure madness indeed :loon. It's -3.3pts for me after Sharapova failed.

R.Nadal/D.Thiem - Over 3.5 sets at 1.73 with Paddy Power

Rafael Nadal has a 9-0 sets lead over Thiem in Grand Slams, but he's been pretty average so far, having plenty of issues against Khachanov and then dropping a set out of nowhere against Nikoloz. Thiem had a good match against Anderson, on the other hand, and it seems to me that he's just fitter, with Nadal possibly having some knee issues again. He isn't complaining about them on air for obvious reasons, but I can't see him going the whole way. Should be a tight match and I wouldn't be shocked to see an upset.

Madison Keys (-3.5) to beat Carla Suarez-Navarro at 1.80 with Bet365

Naomi Osaka (-3.5) to beat Lesya Tsurenko at 1.91 with BoyleSports

I watched all four on Monday and I really fancy the favourites here. Both played much better than their upcoming opponents and both have the right weapons for the match-ups, too much strength in general. Tsurenko also had some fitness issues against Vondrousova, who had her own health problems.

I notice you quote 3 different bookies for your bets CP so I'm a bit worried you didn't back the treble that would've paid around 5.50

    anyway, gr8 tipping mate.

Mens US Open - Coric B. vs Mayer F.

Under 28.5 games @2.24 with Pinnacle

Class act and rising star Borna Coric should get the job done here against Florian Mayer whose rather lost his way.

    :ok

Borna let me down here dropping his only set so far :@ but I think he's being very underestimated by the bookies against DelPo.

neither player has done much wrong so far and Coric to win @ odds of 3.92 with Pinnacle are just too juicy to turn down for me.

I think this will go all the way so I'll be taking the over 4.5 sets line @4.10 with Unibet.

and as I'm blowing his trumpet why not take Coric @ 51.00 with Bet365 e/w to win the tournament.

    good luck all :ok

Fabio not participating in the match so far :$. I need some winners again ffs :loon.

Foggie and Kyrgios such a waste.

imo they are the two most naturally gifted players in the game, oh what could have been.

Kyrgios was actually yawning waiting for Herbert to serve!!!

I hate to say it but I find them both boring now.

    Sasnovich A. - Kasatkina D.

Sasnovich to win @2.62 with Bet365

Sasnovich to win 2-1 @6.00 with Unibet

Sasnovich seems to be flying under the radar as she's been playing great tennis all the way back to Wimbledon. Coming back from a set down to demolish Bencic was another fine performance.

Kasatkina's run up has been nowhere near as good and had a real scare against Babos.

I know I know H2H blah blah but I prefer recent form to H2H and in this case the bookies have it wrong.

    Good luck all :ok

:moon that's what I think of the H2H

  8. Robredo T. - Tsitsipas S.

Tsitsipas is a sensational player, no doubt about it and he's had a great season too but how much has it taken out of him?

After all, he's only just turned 20 and his early exit at Cincinnati may have been an indicator.

So he may find himself under pressure from the off against an up to speed Robredo.

I think the Greek will win but a punt on a 1st set tiebreak @4.00 with Bet365 appeals to me.

    :ok

  9. Mens US Open - Player To Win 2nd Quarter

Stan Wawrinka @ 11.00 with PaddyPower

Stan has an amazing record at Flushing Meadows and I believe he's peaked perfectly with only Nadal and Federer (just) beating him recently. Stan is back!!!

Good luck Czech Punter and all.  I'm experienced tennis bettor and sometimes pretty legit.. I always wanted a forum here for tennis .. seems its kicking off nicely.  I like your parlay above.  But more so especially Bouchard .. she rolled in early qualies.. never heard of their opponents.

I'd have busta as a slight favorite at around -125 to -115.  I think that is a fair price.. And I think the book is playing games with bettors by listing Chung overpriced.. Busta is the more accomplished player and higher ranked in the prime of his career.. so why is he a dog ?

Carreno Busta @ 2.35 with William Hill

It's just possible that PCB doesn't want to go any further here.

As he made the semis at the US Open last year he's probably fancying his chances of going one better.

He got to the 1/4 finals at Cincinnati last week and three more matches here may ruin his chances next week.

    Just a thought.
