  1. Going to absolutely lash down round here tomorrow too.
  2. Cheers Richard, I’m at Haydock tomorrow so any other races you have time to rate would be appreciated.
  3. I had my appendix removed in April Richard. Not pleasant but you’ll be right as rain in about 8-10 weeks from the op. All the best mate and good luck today.
  4. It’s being played at Heaton Park.
  5. Ah yeah even 365 got rid of BOG before the day of the race. What I sometimes do in that situation is split my stake, half at the price and half at SP.
  6. @richard-westwood Dutch Decoy goes again in the last today. Up in trip, slightly better draw.
  7. Tudhope has ridden an absolute stinker on Blue there. Coming round the bend Joe Fanning had got Dutch into a better position from 20 than Tudhope had from 5.
  8. So Grateful beaten half a length into 3rd, thought I was in about a furlong out but was collared near the line. Thought jockey was weak to be fair.
  9. I fancied So Grateful in that race Richard, where did he come out on your ratings?
  10. Spangled has run well after a layoff before - close 4th at Royal Ascot last year following a 4 month break. I’d be more concerned about his draw tonight, personally.
  11. There is one horse I like in particular today, Carlton who runs in the 2.45 at Ayr and is currently priced at 12/1. This horse started out with Godolphin for £350,000 and was trained by John Gosden, but obviously didn't live up to expectations as he was sold after 3 novice/maiden runs for 25,000gns. Since then he has run 13 times for Tracy Waggott, winning once (at Newcastle) off a mark of 57. I actually backed him last time out as he was back to a competitive mark of 58, and was also returning to the scene of his only win. He was fairly well backed late on (12s into 8s) and was prominent but suffered some race-ending interference around 2f out when making his move and never recovered, seemingly finishing full of running. Up in trip today from 1m 4f to 1m 5f should suit with the way he has stayed on in some of his races and he is relatively unexposed on turf and especially over this trip.
  12. BB has only run against South Shore once from what I can see and that was the day on heavy going you mention? And today Beyond Borders has to give Auric 9lbs.
  13. Don’t know if you’ve noticed Richard but Auric also has collateral form with Due For Luck. A horse called South Shore was beaten half a length by DFL at Ripon last year. South Sure then beat Auric at Windsor two weeks ago. So if Auric goes well ill be topping up on DFL!!
  14. Henry Longfellow won’t run I believe.
  15. Interesting that it’s only described as soft and not heavy. Although with all the controversy about the going recently, it’s anyone’s guess!
  16. Brilliant Richard. Have you rated tonight’s Euromillions by any chance?!
  17. Spyglass a big drifter today Darran, 8/1 now. GSI as Willie once said?!
  18. I’m at Aintree on Friday if you get chance to rate any races mate 👍🏼
  19. Same and I had him in a double with Ciara Pearl who’d won at Ling earlier.
  20. 12 runners went off, false start called, rules are if you end up crossing the finish line you can’t run. 10 of them crossed the line so now they’re re-running it with 2 of them 😂😂😂😂
  21. One I quite like at a decent price in the 7pm at Wolves is Sub Thirteen at 12/1. Had wind surgery in November and has had one run since over 6f at this track, finishing 4th beaten 2 lengths. Has been dropped 1lb for that run and a fair few horses come on on their second start after a wind op. Travelled quite well that day but was then ridden along when outpaced, staying on well towards the outside into 4th. Up to 7f today should suit based on that run and should be sharper today with that behind him.
  22. Going to take a bit of a flyer on Gearings Point in the first at Lingfield at 22/1. Has recently been running over hurdles but his last flat run was over C&D when he was 5th beaten 4 lengths in a strong Saturday race which was a Class 4. He’s 1lb lower here and also drops into a C6. It’s a hands and heels apprentice race so anything could happen but he’s got one of the better, and more experienced riders up so could be worth a small ew at a big price.
