  1. @TheBrigadier Thank you so much for continuing the posting of such excellent daily tips. I've been following since last year and they've been a fantastic addition to my betting. I've also created a couple of 'systems' from them which are showing good profit too. Thank you for the effort you put into these, it's massively appreciated and has continued a wonderful tradition of Punters Lounge. Thank you! ?

Excellent start by The Brigadier with a nice profit for the day including the nap.

Also good to see that he is keeping up the BH tradition with the profits coming from those at 4/1 and above !

@MCLARKE firstly, I would like to thank you and everyone involved for keeping the tips going. They became a valuable addition to my betting portfolio, and I'm sure they'll do so again! I also think it's a great tribute to @BillyHills and @Sir Puntalot so thank you sincerely!

I wondered if I could ask a question please? When you mention the profits coming from those at 4/1 and above, does that include E/W tips too, or just the singles at 4/1+?

I'm not expecting the work to be done for me (honest!) and am really looking forward to finding my own edge, but as a starting point to using the tips, this sounds like a really interesting suggestion to follow.

Thank you once again, I really appreciate the effort which is put into these and the fact that they are offered free!

  3. Thanks so much for these @BillyHills, I plan to start following the top ten from tomorrow, starting with Ascot! Last year the flat saw great results, and I know you've heard it before but thank you again for all the effort ... hopefully this will see another profitable year! I know you were putting up the races on an almost daily basis, and whilst definitely not expecting this again, will you be updating profitability of the tracks still? Perhaps on a monthly basis?

And @Sir Puntalot, sounds like a really great plan, I look forward to seeing the stats accessible on the site.

Thank you both - this and the tips in general have been such a great addition to my betting portfolio! :ok

Glad its the end of the flat soon, bring on the jumpers!

    Totals 1603.88

No need tp apologise Billy, days like that happen! The results overall are fantastic, this has been a brilliant addition to my betting. Thanks for all your efforts in bringing these to us and long may it continue! :ok

Hi Billy. Do you apply pre race odds selections bog only to bet365, William hill and betvictor and update other bookie selections to no bog or update them to the following days odds

For example coral only offer bog on race day so your selection for tomorrow cresswell legend would be inaccurate to both give him the best early price with coral and best odds guaranteed as it's actually impossible as coral don't offer bog until the raceday?

I hope you understand what I'm saying. Thanks

    Hi evertorial,

I'd just like to clarify the above bolded section for you.Coral do offer BOG and you don't have to place bets on the day of the race, it can be done the night before. I follow the PL tips and use Coral as I'm not limited by them (fingers crossed that lasts for a while yet!) and usually place my bets around 7pm the night before. If you look at their racecards and see the words 'Best Price Guaranteed' with a little orange icon which says 'BPG', then you will get their equivalent of BOG if the price drifts. A recent example being Remiluc in the 16:10 at Cheltenham on 27 Jan, drifted from 10/1 to 20/1 and the bet was placed the night before.

I think it's been mentioned before that BOG isn't that critical to overall profit, but if you're using Coral and want to place your bets the night before, you'll qualify for their equivalent. I should perhaps also just point out that I'm not affiliated to Coral in any way! :lolBut this is just to let you know that you can get Coral's equivalent of BOG prior to the day of the race.

And top tips as ever Billy, once again thank you and PL for this great (and profitable and free!) resource; I know I'm not the only one who massively appreciates the effort involved! :ok

Exactly. What am I doing wrong as I'm not seeing the same profits.

I've been following the tips for some time now (started off with the Win selections only but now back all selections including E/W) and my only recommendation is to really keep your discipline and don't assume that you're doing anything "wrong". As with all systems/selections/tips etc, there will always be downturns (no system can ever be 100 percent profitable every day!) but if you keep with it, you will see the rewards.

The only input I can give is that I bet 0.5 percent of my bank per selection (0.25 percent for each part of the E/W tips), so this gives me a potential losing run of 200 bets (which has obviously never happened!) and protects my bank, which is the most important aspect of all. I use ratchet staking, so as my bank increases so do my stakes, but they never decrease and this has served me pretty well.

You mention that you use Betfair, have you considered using a BOG bookmakers if you can? I use Coral for all selections and whilst a couple might not match the posted prices, they are all usually pretty close, sometimes actually bigger odds than posted. And on the occasions that BOG does come into play (as seen today with Remiluc in the 16:10 Cheltenham, drifting from 10/1 to 20/1, happy days!) you'll get the benefits of this. As far as I'm aware I don't think Coral close accounts, though more experienced bettors will be able to correct me if I'm wrong? I might just not have got to that level of staking with them yet! But as Sir Puntalot says, BOG doesn't masssively increase profit, and I can vouch for that having followed for the best part of a year!

I genuinely think these are the best tips that are available, especially being that they're free. Keep with them, keep the discipline and I'm sure in a couple of months you'll be in a much better position. Just keep in mind that Rome wasn't built in a day and all that! :ok

With respect Billy they do not get it wrong quite a lot,in fact rarely make a rick.If they did they would be out of business rather quicker than an average pimp whos best girl comes down with a dose of STD and I don't mean STD falling off a 1/10 shot after the final hurdle.

I ill not be surprised at any shortening or

I can only prove that I own it Corky and cannot show it in practice for obvious reasons. However proved and proofed several years ago by 4 betfair forumites.Protected by Copyright and other non disclosure agreements. All documented and recorded on that Forum including the negotiations of sale and the potential purchasers and price.

Whether or not you are privvy to access I am sure others will confirm this,I do not tell lies!!

As made clear at the time,it is not for sale other than the figure mentioned to benefit SSAFA,so an individual would either have to be very wealthy or greedy.Disclosed it would be worthless to most.

Could you provide us with a link to the specific thread on the Betfair forum so we can confirm this for ourselves?

So do you back all the bets or are you a bit more selective

Hi Danny, I bet all Singles tips that are given. I don't bet the Each Ways but that's just personal preference. And that's as selective as I get, but there are many angles you could approach I imagine - excluding Maidens, not betting Class 5 and 6, horses up/down in class etc. There might be more profitable edges but it isn't something I've explored.

For me, the important aspect has been my betting bank and the stakes I use. I bet 0.25% of my bank on each selection and recalculate my stakes each day. I never decrease my stakes, but as my bank grows, so do my stakes. At 0.25% this is a small but steady growth, however it also protects me up to a losing run of 400 bets. That might seem on the cautious side (and I think it's important for a person to find the right level of stake for them, so my %age isn't necessarily my recommendation) but the volume of bets means there will be losing runs - as there always is for any betting system.

I would say it's important not to expect to make a profit every day, and again this is reflective of all systems. I think it's also important to consider this as a long-term investment. You may have a week where you're running a loss ... but the next two weeks run a profit, showing it's important to give it time. I hate this saying, but it really is about the "bigger picture" and after six months my bank is bigger than it was when I started, which is more than I can say for many systems I've tried in the past!

All the best to you however you decide to use them. I'd be really interested to hear if you're considering using them with a bit more of a selective process than myself. :ok

So the :beer:beer is on you then? ;)

Well I did say they were only small stakes! :lol Although the figures don't lie and they are a little bigger now, so I'm pretty sure I've made enough to at least buy a round! So if you, or any of the team are ever passing through Leicester ... :cheers But in all seriousness, I think this is a fantastic resource anyone can add to their betting portfolio. It takes me about 20 mins per evening to place the bets which, considering you provide them to us for free, is a brilliant return on investment in itself. I'm sure I speak for many when I say your efforts really are appreciated so much ... thank you!

  10. I'd just like to add my two pence worth (though the tips have certainly made me more than 2p profit!) and say a massive thank you for putting these tips up on a daily basis. I've been following all singles tips since January and I'm VERY happy with how my bank has grown - I bet 0.25% of my bank as a stake so small stakes to begin with but as the compounding develops the stakes (and profit) have increased very nicely.

A huge amount of effort must go into this and it is massively appreciated - thank you to everyone who's involved and long may the tips continue!

  11. Re: £100 to £100,000 (0% COMPLETE) ATTEMPT 2

I have set myself certain rules and restriction on what I can bet on. Some might think i am rushing this but my target is to average 4 bets a day on odds of 1.02 and only concentrating on under goals and in football only.
I really wish you luck with this, Machiavelli, and I hope you achieve your target, but I think betting on goals only and trying to "achieve" four bets a day is putting serious pressure on yourself to "find" a game to bet on. I also think the problem with goals is that they're random events in games. Who can say for certain whether a game will have one goal, six goals or even no goals? You can perhaps make a good estimation if you know the teams playing and know how the game's going but I've seen plenty of games that are 0-0 at half time which end up 3-3 or even more at full time. However, as I said I wish you luck but even though you say you're down £200 from your profits, whichever way you look at it, that's still £200 less that's in your pocket now compared to a couple of days ago.
  12. Re: 500 Really unlucky with the Inter match. I got on when the Lay price was 19.5 and thought it was an absolute steal. I would've put a lot more on if the liquidity had been there at the time. I guess it was just one of those things which you can't predict happening/take into account. All the best for your next attempt.

  13. Re: Laying 0-1

    44) Luton Town vs Woking - £24.18 @ 40 (17th Mar' date= 19:45 K.O.)
Final Score: Luton Town 0-1 Woking, so out on 43 Bets. From what I heard about the match, Woking fully deserved the win. Starting "Bank" this time is £10.28 and as before the aim is more numbers than money ... 1) VVV vs OSS - £10.15 @ 30 (21st Mar, 19:00 K.O.)
