  1. Madison Keys to beat Marta Kostyuk 2-0 at 1.83 with Bet365 Keys was really good against Yafan Wang, while Kostyuk was quite crap in that long and tiring match against Saville, which was well below average in terms of quality from both players, lots of double faults, simple misses, you name it. Took 3 hours as well, and I don't believe that Kostyuk will recover well enough to be competitive in this one. Barbora Krejcikova (-3.5) to beat Jessica Bouzas Maneiro at 1.83 with Bet365 This should be the end of the road for Jessice Bouzas Maneiro. Krejcikova has faced some serious adversity so far, but she has overcome the challenges and played herself into a very solid-looking form. Her game is a much more natural fit for grass than JBM's game, and she might have a shot at covering this line even if the match goes to three sets.
  2. Yulia Putintseva to beat Katerina Siniakova at 2.20 with Bet365 I've already backed Putintseva on grass a couple of times this season, and I think that she's been playing a bit better than Siniakova so far, so I'd have this as 50/50 at least. Jelena Ostapenko to beat Daria Snigur 2-0 at 1.91 with Bet365 Snigur's serve is really poor, Ostapenko should really snack on it with her return winners. Her win against Dodin looks good on paper, but Dodin was there only for the paycheck.
  3. Bianca Andreescu to beat Linda Noskova at 2.10 with Bet365 I watched Noskova against Errani and I wasn't convinced one bit, so I don't see her as the fav against Andreescu. The Czech was a bit sluggish movement-wise, and needed plenty of time to adjust against the Italian, who was serving her plenty of easy balls back. Clara Burel to beat Sonay Kartal at 2.20 with William Hill Sonay Kartal had a good win against Cirstea in the first round, but that was without any pressure, and I'm not sure that she already deservers to be the favorite against Burel, who's more established and who wasted no time beating Lys. She had a bit of a cold and that's a slight worry, but 2.20 looks juicy enough for me to risk it.
  4. Ajla Tomljanovic to beat Jelena Ostapenko at 2.60 with William Hill Tomljanovic was excellent in the lead-up tournaments, so I think there's a fair bit of value in these odds. You never know what you're going to get with Ostapenko, and the faster conditions take time away from her bigger shots. Should be closer to 50/50 imo. Caroline Wozniacki to beat Alycia Parks at 1.67 with Bet365 Parks has a really good grass court record so far in this season, but Wozniacki is on another level, and also an awful match-up, as she's going to send plenty of balls back to Parks and get her to make her usual bonanza of unforced errors. A.Murray/T.Machac - Over 3.5 sets at 1.60 with Unibet I can't see past Machac in this one, but Murray should be able to fight back for at least one set in home conditions, he's certainly going to give it his all, and Machac is not some sort of a top 10 player with excellent consistency.
  5. Supposedly a heel injury.
  6. Let's get this done, guys! Good luck!
  7. Not a serious comeback attempt as far as I know.
  8. Anastasia Potapova to beat Yue Yuan at 1.55 with Unibet Potapova looked really good last week, only losing to the in-form Tomljanovic who seemed to be hitting it like a beach ball. Yuan looked pretty awkward to me on grass when I saw her against Stephens.
  9. Oscar Otte to beat Juncheng Shang at 1.88 with Unibet Otte seems to be way more at ease on grass than Shang, better results, good odds. The change from Halle to Eastbourne should probably help Shang a little bit, but not enough for this to be near 50/50 imo.
  10. Anastasia Potapova to beat Barbora Krejcikova at 1.83 with Unibet I'm just not convinced that Krejcikova's comeback is on already, she's yet to face good opposition this week, and Potapova has been way better all season long. Krejcikova is still getting a whole lot of credit for her ranking and history, but she is yet to appear in form in 2024.
  11. Can we make it 3/3? Yulia Putintseva to beat Anhelina Kalinina at 1.80 with William Hill Kalinina has stated, several times, that she hates the grass court part of the season, and Putintseva has made serious - and surprising - progress this season, so I like the odds for her here. I also fairly liked her performance against Burel - nothing excellent, but very consistent, and Kalinina might not be 100% determined.
  12. Amelia Rajecki (+5.5) to beat Diana Shnaider at 1.66 with Unibet Rajecki seems to be an exciting UK prospect, as she produced two massive upsets in the qualifiers here against Volynets and Yafan Wang. Shnaider is middling on grass, and she tends not to be focused when a big favorite, so the handicap line looks like a must-bet to me here.
  13. Elise Mertens to beat Caroline Wozniacki at 1.57 with Bet365 Wozniacki hasn't played on grass since 2019, and I don't think that she'll be able to deal with Mertens if the latter players at least like she did against Osaka in her previous match. Mertens has more than enough power for this match-up, and that should be the crucial factor.
  14. Tereza Martincova to beat Moyuka Uchijima at 1.85 with Pinnacle Martincova has now managed to get a couple of very credible results on grass, while there are still some question marks over Uchijima's skills on the surface, as she's never done anything noteworthy on it. Happy to back the Czech then.
  15. Francesca Jones (+6) to beat Emma Raducanu at 1.70 with Pinnacle Can Jones produce another upset? Probably not, but the +6 line is a bit disrespectful imo given her performances. Unless Raducanu finds her best form, Jones should be able to keep this at least "close".
  16. Greetje Minnen (+4.5) to beat Ludmilla Samsonova at 1.78 with Unibet There's no question who's the better player here, but Minnen can deliver on grass, and she actually has a surprising 3-0 record against Samsonova, 6-0 in sets, in fact. Given that, and the fact that Minnen can serve quite well, it's going to be another +4.5 games bet for me.
  17. Francesca Jones (+4.5) to beat Ashlyn Krueger at 1.80 with Bet365 I like Jones on this line, Krueger is no world beater on grass, and Jones tends to play her heart out, which might even be enough on its own here honestly. She's skilled, too, moves well, maybe not on par with Krueger in terms of overall quality, but certainly not as bad as the odds suggest.
  18. Karolina Pliskova to beat Heather Watson at 1.50 with Bet365 Pliskova is obviously far from the player she once was, but Watson is more of a part-time player nowadays, and her results are mediocre at best. Pliskova seems to be targeting this part of the season as well, so there should be at least some will to fight there too.
  19. Can't see past Alcaraz tomorrow honestly, but the price is too short and I'm slightly afraid of his fitness.
  20. The women's final is bound to be a letdown though, I can't see Paolini doing much.
  21. That's been the case with the WTA since I can remember, even Serena was making tons.
