  1. Yulia Putintseva to beat Dayana Yastremska at 1.47 with Unibet Yastremska had quite some Olympics antics to go through, while Putintseva has had enough time to focus on the US swing after the Wimbledon. She's also been far better recently, and I think she'll do quite well in the US swing.
  2. Katie Volynets (-3.5) to beat Kamilla Rakhimova at 1.80 with Bet365 Volynets has been improving recently, and she took a good break to prepare for the US swing, so hopefully she reaps the dividends here. She's classier than Rakhimova, and, with the conditions on her side as well, this should be a handy win.
  3. Yeah, I also think it could be ugly for Rafa unfortunately
  4. Anhelina Kalinina to beat Elsa Jacquemot 2-0 at 2.00 with William Hill Kalinina looked very determined against the very motivated Bejlek in the previous round, and the massive fight she put up showed that she wants to do well in Prague. Jacquemot is way below quality-wise.
  5. Lukas Klein to beat Sumit Nagal at 1.67 with William Hill Klein's form has been on the rise recently, and he did well to beat Wawrinka in Gstaad before qualifying here in 4 sets. Nagal can be a bit of a loose gun, and the Kitzbuhel conditions tend to be fairly specific and favor qualifiers in R1.
  6. Karolina Muchova to beat Astra Sharma at 1.40 with Bet365 Sharma is on a surprisingly good run here, but Muchova is a completely different match-up than Blinkova/Tomljanovic, and the latter seemed to be limited in the decider anyway. Muchova is on a title hunt here imo, and she has exactly the right weapons for beating Sharma.
  7. Alex Michelsen to beat Aleksandar Kovacevic at 1.50 with William Hill Backing Michelsen again, as he looked good against Cressy yesterday. He's been successful on grass so far this year, and has a good record against Kovacevic as well.
  8. Nice comeback there! Alex Michelsen to beat Maxime Cressy at 1.57 with Bet365 Recently, Cressy has been more all over the place than he usually is, and Michelsen is in a good place to take advantage of that imo, he's rising through the ranks quickly, and this is a good opportunity for him in home conditions, as he's done well enough on grass this year despite the 4-5 record.
  9. Ajla Tomljanovic to beat Mayar Sherif at 2.60 with Unibet Normally, I wouldn't want to back Tomljanovic against Sherif on clay, bur Sherif played so much tennis last week with many long matches that I simply have to go against her at 2.60.
  10. B.Krejcikova/J.Paolini - Under 22.5 games at 1.83 with Bet365 Should be quite some nerves from both, and that means the under pick should offer some value. That's how it often goes with these W finals with "GS unproven" players, and I can see it going this way today as well. Carlos Alcaraz to beat Novak Djokovic at 1.70 with William Hill Djokovic has made it to yet another finals, but boy, he's had a cakewalk route here, having faced essentially no elite opposition. Rune didn't turn up, etc. Alcaraz is battle-tested here, and should be a fairly big fav imo.
  11. Pretty common tbf, mentally hard to come back.
  12. Elina Svitolina to beat Elena Rybakina at 3.40 with Bet365 Rybakina is a solid fav in this one, no doubt, but 3.40 seems to be a bit too much given how well Svitolina played in the previous two rounds and how motivated she seems to be. Rybakina hasn't faced an opponent of Svitolina's level yet, and I'm not confident that she'll handle the situation without issues. 2.70 would be tops for me here.
  13. Emma Navarro to beat Jasmine Paolini at 1.53 with William Hill Navarro showed that it's only a matter of time until she becomes a member of the top 10, and she has every chance of getting closer to that goal by beating Paolini here. She has a 3-0 record against her, so there are no match-up demons here, and her soft power will always have an edge over the Italian's tenacity on faster surfaces.
  14. N.Djokovic/H.Rune - Over 3.5 sets at 1.52 with Unibet Like @sterziyskii, I also don't see this being over in three sets. Djokovic hasn't been perfect for quite a while now, and Rune has no reason to be afraid of this match-up given the history between the two. Let's hope for a cracker!
  15. Daniil Medvedev to beat Grigor Dimitrov at 1.67 with Bet365 I think Medvedev takes this one, he has the return to deal with Dimitrov's dangerous serve, and he looked surprisingly energetic/motivated against Struff. DImitrov can do some damage in a set or two, but the format favors Medvedev imo.
  16. I saw her entire match against Volynets. Very labored, could've easily lost in straights, no natural flow in her game.
  17. Not convinced by Krejcikova anymore, can't recommend my bet from above. Keys got the job done easily enough at least.
  18. Two veterans, eh? I'd certainly rather be on Fognini, but I haven't seen much Bautista recently.
