  1. Jessica Bouzas Maneiro to beat Sonay Kartal at 2.00 with Bet365 Kartal is yet to play this year, and I'm not sure I'd have her as the favorite here based on that. Bouzas Maneiro is no world beater, but she's had a fair amount of solid match practice in Australia, and she's good enough to grab the win here if Kartal is even just somewhat rusty.
  2. Jana Fett to beat Lucija Ciric Bagaric at 1.44 with Bet365 Shorter odds this time, but Fett has been truly tremendous so far. Bagaric is the worse player of the two, and she should also be somewhat tired after yesterday's efforts.
  3. I deleted posts from both of you, and I would well and truly like to see you continue posting. I'll delete that post as well, it's fair from you to point that out.
  4. More civility, guys, please!
  5. Lucija Ciric Bagaric to beat Mirjam Bjorklund at 2.20 with Bet365 This feels a bit nonsensical to me. Parks beat herself against Bjorklund, and the latter was serving poorly throughout the match. Ciric Bagaric is not going to be as lackluster as Parks, and I think that she should actually be the favorite here, not Bjorklund.
  6. Maya Joint to beat Olga Danilovic at 2.00 with Bet365 I think Joint is more talented than Danilovic, and that she has a solid career ahead of herself if she continues to progress. Plenty of positives from her last week, and, in a match-up that's going to be all about hard hitting, I also value the fact that she has more match practice under her belt.
  7. Thanks, but I don't mind people disagreeing with me! It's only for the better!
  8. 😆 Main event picks here!
  9. Daria Kasatkina to beat Olivia Gadecki 2-0 at 1.83 with Bet365 This should be easy for Kasatkina. She did lose against the rising start Kudermetova, but Gadecki has nowhere near as power and accuracy, and Kasatkina has basically made a career out of beating lower class opponents easily. With Gadecki losing to both Podoroska and Boulter 0-2, this should be the same.
  10. Ashlyn Krueger to beat Katerina Siniakova at 1.80 with Bet365 Siniakova was very slow off the blocks in the previous round, but Bucsa folded spectacularly and allowed the Czech to get a good scoreline to look at. Krueger has way more match practice in this season and looked legit against Tomljanovic. 1.66 would be my odds.
  11. I just hope you won't get that bet void, as it was played indoors instead of outdoors.
  12. Aoi Ito to beat Sijia Wei at 1.72 with Bet365 Thanks for the wins, Wei, but I hope your match-up problems with Ito will show here once again. Ito can withstand Wei's force and slice her down, with Wei not being able to stay patient enough to weather that and attack only when in good position.
  13. I'm focusing mainly on the WTA side of things as always, and I haven't seen any of the men's United Cup action, so I'm not going to comment just for the sake of it. But certainly I wouldn't be comfortable backing Hurkacz at such short odds given what's at stake (nothing).
  14. Good start to the season, 2-0! Sijia Wei to beat Alexandra Eala at 1.72 with Bet365 Following up on the matches yesterday, I think Wei should be a bigger favorite in this one. She's never had as much hype as Eala, but her improvement trajectory has been steady recently, and she looked better yesterday as well. 6-0 in sets so far here, and I'm hoping she'll be 8-0 or 8-1 after today's round!
  15. I'm also playing Wei to beat Waltert at 1.80 with Bet365 after watching Wei's previous round match. She should put Waltert under enough pressure, plenty of strength and I think she has a lot of talent, I already liked her at the end of the previous season in a couple of matches. Meanwhile, Eala has just lost the first set with even statistics, damn, fingers crossed for a comeback there!
  16. Alexandra Eala to beat Taylah Preston at 1.61 with Bet365 Eala hasn't broken through just yet, and the expectations now seem to be lower than ever. Her serve is still an issue, and there are plenty of problems in her game, but she's still a class above Preston, which is confirmed by the 2-0 H2H record between the two. Eala looked legit to me against Hartono as well.
  17. Just post in the format you're the most comfortable with, we don't need to complicate everything 😉. I think that the European format is the most popular overall, but hey - whatever floats your boat! I have the same opinion as @harry_ragon the US odds - easy to understand with positive odds, hard to do with negative odds. UK odds should just be banned altogether lol!
  18. @four-leaf I always liked Frech better, but her mentality was letting her down constantly. Still, when on fire, she's a league above Linette imo, has a much better upset potential. Stearns is one of the most talented out there imo, if she follows up her breakthrough season with another good year, she should be set!
  19. Please, calm down.
  20. Certainly not *lots*, and the fixing isn't done by bookies.
  21. I was actually thinking about backing Kessler myself, she looked mighty imperious against Linette. Good luck though!
  22. Hi @The Rainmaker! We would, of course, LOVE to have you on for as long as possible. Good luck!
