  1. That's been the case with the WTA since I can remember, even Serena was making tons.
  2. Good luck guys, but I'm actually quite wary on Sabalenka.
  3. Carlos Alcaraz (-1.5 sets) to beat Stefanos Tsitsipas at 1.50 with Unibet The H2H says a lot about this match-up, and Tsitsipas hasn't been all that great so far in this event either, facing below-average opposition and yet losing sets and having some slight issues. Alcaraz basically blitzed Korda and FAA, and he'll want to make a statement after seeing Djokovic struggle yesterday.
  4. Does anyone see any upsets today?
  5. Looks fine to me, though I have no experience with betclic.
  6. It was tight!
  7. Marie Bouzkova (+7.5) to beat Iga Swiatek at 1.67 with Bet365 Bouzkova has always been a legit player, she's very talented, and she's been playing above her standard so far in this event, so this line looks too high to me honestly. Swiatek isn't going to lose, and she'll be focused after that near-loss with Osaka, but +7.5 is just madness imo.
  8. The rain has been very annoying so far, lots of matches affected in ways that were hard to predict. I'll go through tomorrow's card to see if there's anything I like. Collins' loss will at least give her some time off for the other parts of the season, and she should have good chances on faster surfaces.
  9. Jelena Ostapenko to beat Clara Tauson at 1.58 with Unibet Ostapenko is now up and running again, and she should be able to find a way to beat Tauson, who's almost permanently injured and just not fit in terms of overall conditioning. Ostapenko can hit as big as her, and she can outlast her as well if the need to do so arises.
  10. Nah, good place. Haha, I liked this - they were like goodbye Rafa, and he starts by saying that he might be back.
  11. Sara Sorribes Tormo (-4.5) to beat Bianca Andreescu at 1.86 with Unibet Andreescu hasn't played since Montreal last year, and the surface doesn't really play to her strengths here, so I'm not sure how much damage she will be able to do against SST, who's been very solid all year long, and who has all the fitness to out-last Andreescu as well. Unless Andreescu hits a purple patch here, she'll go down easily. Yulia Putintseva to beat Sloane Stephens at 1.73 with Bet365 I really liked how Putintseva dismantled Stephens in Rome a couple of weeks ago, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a repeat of that here. Putintseva has improved a lot recently, and she's always pumped up for matches. Stephens just might not have the energy and will despite this being a GS match.
  12. Draws here: https://www.rolandgarros.com/en-us/results/SM?round=1 R1: Nadal - Zverev!
  13. Aliaksandra Sasnovich to beat Zeynep Sonmez at 1.40 with Bet365 Sonmez has never achieved anything on the big stage, and Sasnovich has made huge improvements since her lacklustre start to the season. She looked very fine in Rome and, on that basis, I think she has every chance to even qualify for the main draw this week.
  14. Erika Andreeva to beat Fiona Ferro at 1.70 with Unibet I'm happy to back Erika once again, she's been doing very fine recently, while Ferro doesn't have any notable results at present. Andreeva also has a far higher ceiling, and she should know the conditions better as well.
  15. Erika Andreeva to beat Diane Parry at 2.12 with Unibet Both have been rather shaky recently, and I think there's value in backing the more talented player at odds against. She's beaten Parry in both of their previous meetings as well, and I honestly don't see a reason, apart from the home conditions, to like Parry here.
  16. Cori Gauff to beat Qinwen Zheng at 1.62 with William Hill Beating Osaka was good, of course, but Gauff is miles ahead Osaka on clay, and Zheng is yet to beat a player of her caliber this season. Gauff is also moving better on the surface.
  17. All Challenger streams are now officially free for most of the courts here: https://www.wtatennis.com/unlocked
  18. Haha I don't think I've ever seen a full match of Alboran, while I still remember some excellent performances from Botic, so I'd be really biased! I've never particularly liked Muller, he doesn't have that X-factor I think, Fucsovics does, but not reliable these days. I'd be just blindly guessing where the value is anyway.
  19. Zhu is certainly better than Niemeier and also more reliable, but I think that she's actually yet to win a legit WTA-level match on clay lol!
  20. I don't rate Niemeier at all. I think Noskova has a higher ceiling than both Fruhvirtovas, they both need some leaps in improvement honestly.
  21. Boisson is talented, but you obviously can't back her at the low odds, you can either back Cornet or not bet at all. Unlike the players Cornet has played so far in this tournament, Boisson has beaten good players in the tricky conditions, so I prefer staying away.
  22. He was commenting on his own pick, so no issues there haha!
